Sam DJ'd at our wedding a few weeks ago and our guests are still asking about him! The music was amazing, his timing was perfect, and he is the ultimate professional. My wife and I absolutely loved our wedding and Sam was a really important part of making the night beautiful, fun, and stylish. He got to know us. He got that we wanted a dance party and we wanted the music selection to touch everyone. He painted a picture of how he was going to make that work. And he promised to play a lot of vinyl!

A couple weeks ago we had Mike DJ our wedding, and it was seriously perfect! We were a bit nervous due to all the different groups of friends / family coming together with their own tastes, but Mike hit all the spots and kept everyone dancing until closing time. We hired Evolved to DJ our wedding in September and we were so happy to get Mike! He is reliable, professional, and extremely easy to work with. He and the whole Evolved team exceded our epectations. My husband and I used Evolved entertainment for our wedding. This was a match made in DJ heaven with Sam being into hop hop (my style) and disco (my husbands style). The entire experience was really easy and Sam was extremely helpful and informative leading up to the day of. The day off was completely flawless and to my surprise they brought along a brilliant saxophone to play along with the DJ's for cocktail hour. During the reception there was never a time the dance floor was empty, there were amazing at reading the room and keeping the party going. I've worked with Evolved Entertainment on a variety of projects, including my own wedding. At every step of the process, I always felt like Mike (our DJ) was making it a personal priority for the event to be perfect. My fiancée and I had a strong comfort level with Sam from the start. In our meetings with him leading up to our wedding, he was very professional, affable and helpful.

Sam set up the audio system for the ceremony for our minister, who had requested a microphone. Later, he effortlessly introduced us before the dinner with one piece of music and then segued perfectly to our first dance.

Sam handled the introductions of the speeches seamlessly and then had everyone up dancing for the rest of the night with a great mix of our favourite genres, artists and songs, while throwing in some nice surprises, deep cuts and requests.

We highly recommend Sam for whatever event you're planning.

We hired Evolve for our once-a-year corporate event and we were impressed with Sam (DJ) and Josh (sound engineer) for putting together a fantastic audio set for us. They were clearly invested and active throughout the planning and the evening, reading the crowd and using their expertise to overcome difficult room acoustics. We had planned for a DJ in advance but at the last minute had a segment of the evening with a live band and Evolve was very accommodating with adding the necessary equipment and personnel to get the job done. What we thought would be a standard dancing evening became a memorable event for our employees because of Evolve. My husband and I hired Evolved Entertainment for our NYE wedding at York Mills Gallery. We first met Sam at my brother-in-laws wedding in 2017. We knew right away that when it was our turn to get married, we would hire Sam to DJ. Sam met with us multiple times leading up to the day, to ensure both that a) he was meeting our needs in terms of the music we wanted and b) that the crew would be fully familiar with our schedule. From start to finish, the experience I had with everyone at Evolved was professional and easy. From our first meeting with Mike and Sam, we knew that their team was the right choice. Ultimately Mike was our DJ for our wedding and he absolutely killed it. A few weeks later and people are still commenting on the great time they had. He listened to all of our requests, read the crowd perfectly, and made sure that each moment was carefully crafted. The best part is that we had a DJ for the whole day, so our ceremony, cocktails, dinner, speeches, and dancing were all covered by Mike and his assistant, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Sam did an amazing job with the entertainment at our wedding. He is very professional, reliable and friendly. He provided a full entertainment package which included all of the necessary equipment, lights and music. Sam had all of our guests dancing and I had people telling me throughout the night that they loved the music. WOW - what a night!!! We can't even begin to thank you enough for doing such an incredible job - start to finish. The dinner was perfect. Just as we discussed - you started off with some of the oldies and slower songs, and then started picking up the energy at the mid point (good call with The Police). You nailed all the cues during the speech introductions (people commented on how it added an element of excitement). And, the room looked amazing with the purple lights, which matched the decor. After the cutting of the cake you magically disappeared into the main room, which had been perfectly set-up and ready for a dance party!! The set-up was way bigger and better than I had imagined it would look. I think being inside worked out way better than if we had been outside. Since we had such a small number of younger generation that was ready to stay late, we needed a smaller and more intimate environment. You had us on the dance floor the whole night - until almost 3am! We also loved your song selections in between our must-haves. We couldn't have asked for a better night. So many people have called/written to let us know much fun they had, and you were a huge factor to the success of the evening. We will definitely recommend Evolved Entertainment!
