Evie is simply wonderful, I booked her for my wedding day hair and makeup (inc trial) and my two bridesmaids and she did a wonderful job. I had so much fun getting ready with her, singing along to old-school tracks together, I forgot it was my wedding day so had no wedding day nerves at all. The makeup and hair last all day (even with some hardcore dancing in the evening and summers sun). I don't know how she did it, but Evie got it just right! She did hair and make up for me and the bridal party at my wedding a couple of weeks ago. I am quite fussy and usually need perfect planning to feel at ease. So meeting Evie only once for a trial and then the day of the wedding was very unsusual for me. But she made me feel so comfortable during the first time, I just knew she would deliver. And she did! Along with the also very talented Kat she managed to not only make each woman of my bridal party feel and look stunning, but she also kept her cool with my last minute changes after she had already started doing my hair. Everyone commented on not only how beautiful, but also how natural we looked. I really liked that. She knows how to emphasize someones best features. Now on top of all that (if you still need convincing), Evie is also a very lovely person. She is funny and so easy to talk to, someone you want to meet up with for a drink. How could I possibly describe Evie other than fabulous! She is a wonderful hair and make up artist who put myself, mother and three bridesmaids at ease during the morning! Evie listened to all of our wants and needs for my big day and made us all feel beautiful! I was so nervous about getting the right person for my wedding hair and makeup that I left it until about a month before hand. Luckily for me, I found Evie and she was available on the date of my wedding. Evie was extremely accommodating to arrange a trial given the short notice and completely put me at ease, I knew that she was going to make me feel like a made-up version of me and not someone else! Evie came to my house and put me totally at ease for my trial. She then came to my wedding with the lovely Cat (or Kat.. ) and without warning did 3 up do's when I had said 'they'll probably just want down and wavy.' Evie did my make-up on my wedding day, having previously been over for a trial session. She was just wonderful, she put me at my ease and wasn't phased by me telling her that I hadn't changed my make-up style since uni, many years ago! I was so worried about having my hair and makeup done for my ball because I'm such a perfectionist! But Evie couldn't have some a better job, she made me feel very comfortable during the apointment and I've never looked better! I was so glad to have chosen Evie as my wedding make-up artist - she's just fantastic. She did make-up for me, my 3 bridesmaids and my mum for my country-style wedding in August 2014, and we were all so happy with our make-up on the day. Evie was lovely to work with - so friendly, professional and a very calming influence to have there on the morning of the wedding. I had already had a great trial with Evie a few weeks before, where we tried various different styles and found the one which was just right for me. So on the morning of the wedding it all felt very calm, and Evie was happy to fit around our arrangements with the hair stylist.
