Planning my wedding in 6 months sounded like a nightmare but with the help of events by wise it went smoother than I ever imagined. I had the month of services and that alone helped so much! We had our initial meeting with all the details mapped out already and she had list of vendors if i needed it. Shari met with me at the venue to do the mapping out and got it all on the personalized website for me to see it. Her staff the day of were amazing. I can't even begin to thank Shari and her staff enough for coordinating the best day of our lives. From beginning to end she executed my dream wedding flawlessly. Starting with contacting  vendors months in advance  to finally hand delivering our official marriage license and every little detail in between, she was truly like a fairy Godmother who made all of my wishes come true. We have nothing but good things to say about Shari and her team. After speaking with Shari over the phone, we knew Events By Wise was the perfect company to bartend our wedding. Shari took the time to answer all of our questions in a very timely manner and was always very professional. To top it off, her staff is great! Although I did not personally meet most of the bartenders since your wedding day is usually quite hectic, we had no complaints from our guests! And to top it off, we had to put the bartenders outside under pop-up tents since we had to accommodate a last-minute change to a smaller indoor venue due to a huge rainstorm coming through and the bar area would no longer fit inside. Although it was freezing and rainy, the bartenders did an excellent job and did not complain once! HIRE SHARI! She was our month of coordinator for our Wedding 5/11/19. We were originally thinking that we didn't need a coordinator and we would figure it out on our own (ha! ). As I would make my to do list I would get overwhelmed and I kept finding myself googling "Do I need a wedding coordinator?" because the task of planning our wedding was starting to consume my entire life (including my sleep). I finally read one post that said it was the best money she had spent on her wedding. We asked our photographer, Bethany Petrik, if she recommended anyone and she immediately said Shari. We reached out to her on a Sunday, she got back to us instantly and said she was out of the office and would call me the following morning. We talked and instantly LOVED her. She is extremely professional, organized, bubbly and fun. We scheduled an in person run down and went over what she offers (everything from day of coordinator, month to several months). Booked her immediately. She ended up SAVING us a ton of money. She gave me these gigantic and beautiful wedding magazines (which, yes, her amazing work is in) and discount codes for RSVPs and Invitations. She signed us up on a website called Aisleplanner.com which is where EVERYTHING lived - our vendor contacts, timeline, who we owed money to and reminders when to pay them, she created an actual image of our reception and ceremony lay out and where every table would go. We also communicated 90% of the time on that website. We would get e-mail alerts when anything was updated - we threw away our stupid binder that we bought to keep us organized because it was all done digitally! She has contacts through out the entire industry and was able to find us the best prices on rentals, florals (which she did herself), and way more.Some things she did that stand out that if we didn't have her we would have been a nervous wreck:-Caught we didn't have enough glasses-Caught we didn't have a Welcome table-Caught we didn't have TABLE CLOTHS-Communicated entirely with all of the vendors during the last month (we didn't need to talk to ANYONE)-She caught things day of the wedding that we didn't even hear about or know about to avoid us from stressing and fixed them on her own-Saw we were running low on ice day of and had someone go get some-Created a timeline and she made she we stuck to it to the T. I've never been to a wedding where everything is on time. She made it happen! Weddings and other large event are what Shari does for a living. We are relatively organized people but we do not have the experience to anticipate all of the details that go into planning, what could go wrong, etc. There are so many moving parts. Lastly, she rolls with the punches! We changed so much stuff the last week, 2 weeks and even on the day of our wedding (needed an extra boutonniere that we forgot and she whipped it right up). She does this all with an extremely positive attitude and a dang smile. She is a true professional. Also, we would like to add that she had a very busy schedule with several other weddings but we never ever felt like she had any other clients except for US. It was a serious pleasure working with her and her daughter Dani. We may be bias but we truly feel like we had the best wedding ever and we are so thankful that we get to look back on our day and completely gush and say "there is nothing that could have made our wedding more amazing". This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful Quinceañera. It was extremely thought out and it was wonderful to speak with the mother of the Guest of Honor who gave such high recognition to the event planner. She stated that the vision she had for this "once in a lifetime experience" was created by Events by Wise. As a guest of an event that was just so beautiful, it was nice to hear that an Event Coordinator was so diverse in her plannings. She not only specialized in Wedding coordination but specializes in ALL events that people request. I have been to quite a bit of weddings and Shari was the first coordinator that I saw that was along side her staff helping them. She wasn't just standing around, watching people or directing staff, or the vendors but she was BUSSING tables, picking up trash, organizing the dances, scrapping food of the plates, taking trash out. It was so nice to see an owner of a business helping staff. Shari was so attentive to the guests and their needs throughout the entire event to include before and after care. When there was a delay for the dinner to start, Events By Wise owner quickly rearranged the itinerary to accommodate the Guest of Honor, family, & guests to ensure that the event ran smoothly and that the other vendors there were not off schedule & the parents got their money's worth from every vendor. Shari Wise was cool and calm under pressure, made smart decisions on the fly, & kept the parents at ease. One of the best things we did for our wedding day was hire Shari from Events by Wise. Events by Wise had a variety of services to offer. I’m a pretty organized person so all I needed was someone I could trust to handle our big wedding guest list of 300. We hired Shari for Day of Coordination. I initially booked Shari a few months before my late summer wedding (September 2016). We meet with her numerous times before the wedding and were able to bounce ideas off each other. She understood perfectly what we needed from her and made everything happen. Four days before my wedding, tragedy struck my family and we lost my grandfather unexpectedly. It was a huge loss to my family and the wedding was immediately postponed. Because of this, Shari took on contacting all our vendors to postpone their services for us so we didn’t have to. This was a huge relief so I could focus on my family’s needs. When the grieving passed we contacted Shari about rescheduling her for an April 2017 Wedding. We were happy and grateful to hear that she was available for our new day. Our April wedding came and Shari, with her staff, did a phenomenal job! They were friendly, thoughtful, professional, and capable. She made our wedding day feel like the breeziest day of our lives. We might have been the biggest wedding she’s coordinated but it didn’t show, so for that, 5+ stars for the incredible attention to detail, ease and timeliness of communication, and genuine commitment to ensuring everything was taken care of behind the scenes. One of the advantages to booking her is that Shari has props and materials that she made available to us. We needed a backdrop for our sweetheart table and she offered her vintage doors and ladder. Shari and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding a day to remember. She paid special attention to each and every detail whether they were small or big.
