Evelyn and Paul have looked after our 2 year old Cockapoo since she was a puppy. Bailey just loves the time she spends with them. She is loved and cuddled and goes for log walks she can’t wait to go for day care. Bailey has spent some holidays at Evelyn’s too and had a great time boarding. Been leaving my Dog with Evelyne and Paul for a year now. Wouldn’t go anywhere else to be honest. They treat my dog like one of their own. Lovely big clean house with a very secure dog friendly garden. My dog absolutely loves going there. 5 star treatment without a doubt. Very happy there is no Better place in my opinion. We were worried about leaving our Yorkie with a dog sitter as he had previously only stayed with family members. However Evelyne and Paul have been fantastic with him. He was quite timid with other dogs but she introduced him sensitively and allowed him space to settle in. He now loves going there and is really happy and settled. I also get lots of photos and updates so I know he is in good hands. I would definitely recommend Evelyne and Paul as brilliant dog sitters with areal passion and care for dogs. More...

We received fantastic care for our dog by Evelyne & Paul. Their passion for animals is very obvious and they loved our dog as if their own. Our dog is a fussy eater, and they kindly took the trouble to cooking chicken/pasta/fish to persuade him to eat. Also as we live in a flat our dog often toilets indoors, but thankfully Evelyne & Paul had endless patience with this. On New Year's Eve they anticipated there would be fireworks and thoughtfully stayed at home to comfort our dog. There were frequent updates and plenty of photos and videos, and our dog had walks daily and made plenty of friends. I was a bit worried about leaving my dog in the hands of strangers for the first time but Evelyne and Paul pleasantly changed my mind the moment I met them and i knew my little Poppy would be in safe hands.
Poppy doesn't warm to many people (being a rescue dog) but she seemed to take a liking to Evelyne and Paul.
While I was away I received pictures every day of Poppy and when I picked her up, from her behaviour she seemed a little gutted about coming home with me. I think she enjoyed it a little too much!
For a worry free holiday leave your pet with Evelyne and Paul, they were great! :)

Thank you so much! We left our puppy with Evelyne and Paul for the first time at the weekend for the night. Couldn't of been better with Daisy. ...and us! Really reassuring, lots of photos and videos of Daisy enjoying herself with the other dogs, on her walk and having snuggles on the sofa with Evelyne. I'm so thankful that I've found 2 people who love dogs just as much as me. Ernie has boarded with Evelyne and Paul, attended doggy day care and been out for walks with them. He always has the best time and comes home exhausted from a day of socialising and playing with other dogs. Knowing I can leave Ernie with people I can trust makes going to work or heading out for the evening a lot easier. Ernie is treated just as he is at home! This was the first time using a dog sitter. Having a rescue dog meant we didn't want to go down the kennel route. Jake absolutely loved his stay with Evelyne and Paul. He had lots of walks, cuddles and treats, he even got to sleep on the sofa which is a real home from home luxury for him. We got lots of pictures and updates whilst we were away which is so comforting and meant we never had to worry about him. In fact the only worry we did have was that he may not want to come home again because he was having such a good time! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service. Couldn't have found a better person than Evelyne to look after my sausage dog Erik.
He absolutely loves her and Paul has loads of fun, walks and cuddles.
Evelyne has looked after Erik several times for me now while I've been away and although I miss him I know for sure that he is being well looked after and she sends me lots of pictures so that I can see to. I would recommend them to anyone that wants there dog looked after as she truly loves them all �

I couldn't recommend Evelyne and her husband enough, they looked after our Boston terrier Max whilst we had our wedding.
Max is six years old and we have never left him with anyone but family but I can honestly say we had no worries and had full confident in Evelyne. Max was actually said to leave!

Evelyn and Paul have been walking our little fidget for a few months now and she has just started to stay during the day with them.
I was apprehensive and anxious about leaving her as she is partially sighted and going deaf. Since loosing her eyesight she had become aggressive and defensive around other dogs if they run and jump around her.
Evelyn and Paul reassured me she would be ok
There has been a massive improvement in her since she has been spending time with them and the other dogs
I took her out today and we met another dog she was well behaved and friendly showed no aggression what so ever
She adores them both although Paul is her favourite
She loves every minute she spends with them
They care for her every need and I would recommend their services to anyone
Fidget will continue to go to them for as long as they can have her

I honestly couldn't have found someone more amazing to look after my dog. Beans was with them Monday to Friday for 3/4 weeks and loved every minute of it. We have even noticed a change in him and he is better behaved. He will now be going once a week because he just loves it so much and misses them when his not there. They look after them as their own. Fantastic Fantasic Fantasic Evelyne & Paul are the most loving and caring people to look after your pets , if you want a home from home experience. This is the fourth time they have looked after out dog Lottie in the past year. We have just returned again and four days on she is still sulking because she has come home. What do you love most about your job?
We absolutely love everything about our job. I mean seriously what is there not to love about walking, cuddling and playing with animals all day long? We honestly feel unreservedly that we've got the best job in the world and enjoy every single minute of it! We are passionate about animals and their welfare and doing what we do gives us an amazing opportunity to be in contact with so many animals of different breeds and personalities every day of the year 24/7. We love the great outdoors and not being chained to a desk is an added bonus. Since giving up budgets and figure crunching and starting my new life working with animals I have not looked back and although I work 24/7 in some very unglamorous situations (got to be said) it really is an amazing job full of fun and laughter. No more Monday blues for us. So like I say what is there not to love?
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been very career-minded and I suppose you could say money was my inspiration for work before starting Evelyne’ Pampered Pets. I have always been totally totally unfulfilled in past careers even if I enjoyed them at the time. However there was something lacking I couldn’t quite put my finger on. I worked very long hours and had an 80 mile return journey on the M25, 5 days a week. The work itself was very stressful and as I sat behind a desk for 8-10 hours each day virtually only moving for a toilet break my health began to suffer. I ended up in hospital and was advised by doctors I would get seriously ill if I didn’t start looking after myself. My husband knew how much I adored animals and he suggested now may be good time to set up my own business looking after them. It was like a dream come true for me as this is something I had only ever thought about doing. My family and friends always said it would be the perfect job for me knowing my love of animals but I never gave it any serious consideration until now. I can honestly say that I’ve never looked back nor been happier despite the huge drop in salary. The joy and fulfilment I get from the dogs I care for is far far better than any pay rise another career could have given me. My love of animals is the main reason I started my business and I have never looked back.
