Oh, who uses those locker rooms? Could you change in the bathrooms instead?I was talking to a coach about the dungeon room and how much I hated it. It’s long and really tough to coach in there. We came up with the idea to maybe tear down the locker room, and we probably won’t end up doing it, but it is an idea that we are looking into. Let me know if you need that locker room so I can stop thinking of the idea and clear my brain up for other things to work on.And those of you that think it’s a great idea don’t get your hopes up. People have busy lives and need someplace to change.ThursdayA. 15 minutes of practice, 2-3 roundsRun 400Machine of class choice: 400 (rowing is on friday so it’d be good to work on it, or avoid it depending on your goal)B. Two rounds for score of:Tabata SquatsMuscle-up for four minutesRestNo rest between finishing T. squats and muscle-ups. This is a 16-minute workout with rest at 8 minutes. Multiply lowest squat count for all eight intervals by the number of muscle-ups completed in four minutes for each round and post to comments. Substitute 5 pull-ups and 5 dips for each muscle-up if necessary. More...

Maybe the last reviewer “Shannon Larson” was having a bad day, but I had very wholesome experience. Some things that stood out to me are the coaches and owner Jeremy have very enthusiastic and fun personalities where you just want to be around and learn from them. To get the perfect coach you gotta be the perfect mentee remember that! It’s hard to understand any box’s philosophy so I was fortunate enough to come for about 2 weeks on a business trip. I feel like their approach is longevity in CrossFit! I’m grateful to learn at 35 years old about specific running techniques, breathing, arm angle, where to land on feet, body tilt angle, etc. If your looking for a spa treatment box probably not the right fit “Shannon Larson” I would take someone that started CrossFitting like the owner in 2007 than someone who started CrossFit in 2016 and opened a box in 2018 all day any day. Shout Out to CrossFit Eugene! Will be back! More...

It has a variety of classes. If you’re someone who loves to workout more than once a day, this gym is perfect. You aren’t stuck doing the same WOD repeatedly, you have multiple classes whether it’s strength, Olympic lifting, Abs or even an Advance WOD that you can choose from. The coaches are great, they’re attentive, knowledge and aren’t set in their ways. You’ll see them discus amongst each other the difference in how the other teaches a specific lift or movement and they learn from each other, instead of the typical “my way is the only way” approach. I myself am not really into crossfit all that much but this gym has something for everyone. More...

The people at Eugene Crossfit were outstanding! They definitely take the time to be very helpful with lifts to ensure safety and proper form. I'm from out of town but they definitely make you feel right at home.I was new to some of the crossfit exercises, however, they took the time to provide very adequate instruction before we got into the main workouts. It was very easy to drop in for a workout. The workout times and the types of workouts were posted on their website which made it very helpful to plan. The location is very easy to find and they have an extensive amount of equipment (stationary bike, rings, kettle bells, pull up bars, row machines, weights, tires, etc) to meet the workout needs.Definitely will visit again. This is a great gym to become a member at if you're interested in doing Crossfit. I was apprehensive at first about joining after being injured at a previous Crossfit gym, but Eugene Crossfit has totally changed my outlook. The staff is incredibly supportive and motivating, and they allow you to go at your own pace; if the daily workout says 100 Air Squats and you can only do 50, that is not a problem for them, it's all about your own personal development. I am not a very motivated fitness person to begin with, but knowing I get to go see Daren, Jeremy, TJ, or any of the other coaches gets me off my butt and into the gym. I would HIGHLY recommend Eugene Crossfit to anyone from beginners to experienced Crossfitters! More...

I was visiting Eugene last weekend and knew I needed to complete 17.4 away from my home box in SF. I did some online searching and came up with Eugene Crossfit. They impressed me on many levels! I got a response to my request for information about classes within 24 hours and was welcomed right away when I dropped in last Sat. Sean coached a very fun (and free!) workout that I brought my friend to (who had never done xfit before). Then they let me come in and complete 17.4 on my own on Sunday, including helping me get set up with weights, timers, etc. I was impressed with the fun, open, and relaxed atmosphere and really appreciated the opportunity to get my workout in away from home. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in town. More...

If you are serious about getting healthy and fit, then this is your gym! I love walking in the door and absolutely everyone is nice, like they have known you forever. I started a challenge here and I'm a bigger girl, and not one time did I ever feel mistreated because of my weight. No one who coaches or goes there EVER made me feel like a fat girl. I told a coach I wanted to do a certain move in the gym knowing it will be awhile till I can, and he told me he knows I will, and I truly believed him. It's hard work, but it's worth it!! More...
