I have been coming to Jennie for years. She is the BEST and I say that with no reservations. I have seen her for sciatica and back problems amongst other things and I can say I have not had a flare up of sciatica since, the minute Jennie puts a needle in the pain disappears. Her practice is very pleasant and peaceful and Jennie herself is so warm and kind always taking the time to find out how you are before deciding the best way you should be treated. I'm always going on about how great she is so today i thought I'm going to write it down so others can see. This medicine is better than popping pills and lotions it REALLY works. I am pleased to leave a review on the treatment I've had with Jennie Chew and Deep Oscillation® Therapy. I've been experiencing severe discomfort and pain since breaking my right leg (tibia & fibula) as well as my ankle.
I now have a metal plate and nine screws in my leg.
I decided to try out this therapy as electro-acupunture was not recommended due to the metal in the affected leg. The actual session lasted for about 30 mins; this comprises of a massage coupled with electro-static pulses - 20 minutes at the higher frequency of 200mhz and 10 minutes at the lower frequency of 60mhz. The higher frequency felt lighter but faster, while the lower frequency felt slower but deeper.
When I say lighter and deeper, these are terms that I can only describe it as. If you think about things like electro-acupuncture or the TENS machine it feels like it goes across the affected area that you use it on (in conjunction with your muscles), the Deep Oscillation® Therapy doesn't go across, it's goes down.
After the treatment, I felt more relaxed, lighter and free of pain. As to the question of whether or not I would recommend Essences of Healing and this type of Therapy... Yes I would :)

I had a series of acupuncture sessions with Jennie as part of my fertility treatment. I'd never had acupuncture before but Jennie's kind, gentle manner put me at ease and made me feel completely comfortable. She also gave me stage by stage information about exactly what she was doing and how it was going to benefit me and my treatment. I saw jennie both before and during my 3rd cycle of ivf as my hormones were majorly screwed up after the first two failed cycles. I went to Jenny after having suffered with suspected plantar fasciitis for over a year, in both feet. I had tried many other therapies such as physio/gp visits and shock wave therapy, none of which worked. Whilst I don't think that the acupuncture has healed my problem altogether, I believe that it has certainly helped a great deal. I had three sessions and after no.3 I started to feel a real improvement in my feet. Jenny was always very gentle, kind and professional and talked me through the process. I was extremely nervous about having acupuncture as I have a fear of needles. However the sessions have been amazing and I barely feel anything at all.
