What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Proper lighting is the number one factor in creating great photographs. Knowing how to pose subjects, proper use of selective focus and attention to detail are also important to taking a good photograph and making it great.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I generally like to get to know a client a little when we begin so that I can understand their vision. Often people say that whatever ideas I have are fine, but usually they have something in mind even if they can't articulate it. It's my job to figure out what they want and give them the best possible realization of their desires.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to produce beautiful images and powerful video that evoke positive emotion and satisfaction. Because I often see my clients as friends, I get great joy out of making them happy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My father was a photographer and I took up the craft. Having a photography and video business gives me the opportunity to make a living doing something I'm passionate about.
