What do you love most about your job?
Seeing such positive changes in people's health. When clients enter the clinic in pain and walk out with a beaming smile, it brightens our whole day!
I’m so grateful to all clients who have used our services, and ever hopeful that we can reach out to welcome those who have yet to do so.
What inspired you to start your own business?
For many years working in several London clinics I harboured the ambition of one day opening my own multi-disciplinary complementary medicine centre. My family and I moved to East Sussex in 1999 - my wife found the ideal premises (an oak-beamed listed building in the heart of the town, less than 2 minutes walk from the station).
We refurbished the entire interior & created new rooms, installed comfortable new couches, installed wall to wall 100% wool carpeting and painted the entire clinic with 100% organic paint. We gathered together a wonderful team of dedicated practitioners and friendly receptionists - and we are delighted that many are still with us 17 years later!
Our idea was to create a warm, friendly, clean, organic environment for people to enjoy coming for treatments, and for therapists to love coming to work. So when in May 2000 we opened the doors, it was with bated breath that we awaited the public’s response…
Now, over 16 years later, we’ve gone from strength to strength, made many friends and built links with local GPs, who are now confident to refer patients to us.
We always ask new clients if they have any ideas or suggestions for improvements to the service they’ve received, and we’re starting to get regular feedback in the form of 4 and 5 star reviews using FreeIndex. I am confident, too, that we will continue to grow - and look forward to welcoming you if you come to see us.
