Working with a short term model most clients use between 6-10'sessions which is our norm.

What do you love most about your job?
Looking at the clients journey through therapy from session 1 till finish with them and the surprise and joy from where they were to where they are now . It's amazing to have a job that can make such a difference in clients lives .
Helping one individual has a ripple effect . Working with children this year made me see this . Helping one child affected ,parents,siblings ,teachers ,grandparents and whole class dinamics it is a privilege .
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working around general practice was encouraged by GP friends who told me for some time to do this and I have since then worked in schools as well as with adults .
I had a very wise teacher who told me when I started " every client is a gift" and at the time I didn't get it . Now however I can see it and I will always be learning
Why should our clients choose you?
First session is discounted to give the client an opportunity to get a taste of counselling.
I have a good track record and relaxed style that suits most clients . Even with the relaxed style can still work through delicate and complex issues .
I supervise other counsellors and psychotherapists which is great to keep my "toolkit" fresh .
I will try to work with clients using short term models where thereputically appropriate .
