We booked Freddy to take photographs of our ceremony. He really excellent job. He contacted us as soon as the booking was confirmed and turned up ahead of time to check how we wanted to conduct the 30-minute time slot we had booked. He made good suggestions, guiding the process without being intrusive or overbearing and we were delighted with the results. All of the photographs were well-composed and the processed images were delivered on time. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The most important element of a good photograph is the story that it tells. I don’t believe that you need to be a professional to take a great photograph. My favorite photographs are always the ones that evoke a feeling or a memory, transporting you to another place and time. Often this means avoiding the obvious shot, and instead trying to capture the moments that reflect the story of your individual experience to create something unique.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always ask my clients. If they have a location already planned or if they would like me to choose one for them. I always try to help my clients if possible to chose a location this way they don't have to do a lot of research. Then I usually ask what type of photography are you looking for. If its Weddings, Family, Babies, Etc. After this we usually set up the day and the meeting.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the freedom and be able to provide everyone with the best quality of pictures I can possibly can. This is the only job that I really have a passion for. I don't do it really for the money even though of course I have to charge to continue doing what I love. I do it because It's the best thing that I have ever done in my life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I got inspired because I wanted to reach more people on a greater scale. The business aspect will help me do that. I enjoy having the freedom to do what I love and be able to show it to the world.
Why should our clients choose you?
As professionals, my role is to alleviate any fear or discomfort from my clients have and make the session an enjoyable experience for them. In addition to being creative and demonstrating confidence and expertise when it comes to posing, it’s important to create an atmosphere that allows them to relax.
