Entertainment Express

We booked Kerry for our wedding back in October and he did an excellent job. From setting up an account on his Web site to set up a play list, wedding party names for the intros, first dance, etc. which was quite easy to sitting down with him the week before to plan out the evening, checking to be sure he pronounced names correctly. He was very professional throughout the entire experience and he really helped the evening to flow smoothly. If you are looking for a DJ that is willing to go above and beyond Entertainment Express certainly should be your choice. I have been to A LOT of weddings and it is ALWAYS a pleasure when I see Entertainment Express there as I know it is going to be a fun filled night and guests WILL be out dancing . When I started planning my wedding the DJ was the easiest pick due to me knowing how well Kerry knows his stuff. He is certainly an expert in this field and he has an excellent way of "reading the crowd and talking to people in general. I could go on and on; however to get to my point.. Time is priceless and Kerry took time out for me to help with any questions I had, as I had A LOT; however he never made me feel that I was bothering him. It truly helps having someone so experienced in their area of expertise as it puts less stress on you. Kerry was also able to provide a lot of great suggestions that I never even thought of. Entertainment Express made our wedding reception such a fun and enjoyable experience. Extremely professional, prompt, and fun. Kerry played all the songs we requested. Lighting and sound system were great. He did an amazing job for all the introductions and keeping the reception moving along and on schedule. Kerry was wonderful to work with. Pricing is reasonable and he has helpful suggestions for every detail of your wedding, not just the music. Very easy to get ahold of and responds to messages as soon as possible. Our wedding day and night was perfect thanks to him. He was even able to find our not well known wedding song. Kerry at Entertainment Express was very helpful when it came to music for our wedding. The only thing I would suggest is that if you really want certain songs played, make sure you are vocal about it. I felt like I had too many request. I know my guests wanted to hear certain songs, but then I would have marked some of my songs to be played during dinner so I could hear them. More...

This Dj was everything we could have asked for! He was extremely responsive and worked with us when we needed to change the date to an earlier date. Kerry did my wedding this past weekend and it was beyond amazing. He was the best. The ceremony music was Timed perfect and beautiful. The sound was on point the whole ceremony. The reception couldn't have been better. The dance floor was full all night long, people dancing in their chairs and on the head table. Attended a recent outdoor wedding and was really impressed with the DJ, Entertainment Express. The music changed to get more people on the dance floor, since it was slow-going at first. There was a rush to get inside the tent since he was set outside because dinner was under the tent and the weather started getting bad, but I shocked to see how quickly he moved all of the big equipment and switched gears without complaint. Absolute best entertainment! My sister had the same DJ and he was able to drive to Chicago for our wedding which was awesome! Literally the dance floor was packed until the event ended at midnight. Could not have asked for a better DJ or better experience! Worth every penny! More...

We LOVED our DJ Kerry!! From the first time we met Kerry, we felt we'd made the right decision. He has 30 years of experience behind him, and has thought out potential problems that I would never have considered-and he has the solutions to make your event perfect. His website contains over 16,000 songs that you can choose as either "Must Play," "Play if Possible," or "Do Not Play." If you want something not on the list, he will find it for you. I requested 2-3 songs not on the list, and he played them all. You can also choose what songs you'd like for any of the special moments-like the 1st dance, bouquet toss, and grand entrance. A couple of days before the wedding, Kerry will call you just to make sure everything is right and to make sure he knows how to pronounce the wedding party's names. Kerry was an excellent DJ. He worked very hard with us to make our day special. Him and my dad got along very well and made sure he would be the one to dj our reception. He also was able to swing working for our ceremony too. It was a tight squeeze, but he made it happen. Our guests really enjoyed the music, which was a big concern, we had an older crowd. They were up and dancing and the "couple dance" was a huge success, he picked great songs. My brother-in- law and his girlfriend were supposed to graduate the same day as our wedding, but didn't attend. He made an announcement and then played the graduation song afterwards. It was such a surprise. It's the little details that get you. A song came on and we couldn't quite remember the moves and suddenly the dj came out on the dance floor and started doing the moves and walked us through it. According to the photographer (they worked many weddings together for 10+ years) said he's never seen him get out on the dance floor before. It was the funniest thing ever. Everyone had a great time and thank goodness he did that, we looked goofy. It made for some hilarious photos. All in all, we felt confident with our decision with Kerry right away and knew we picked the right guy even after the day was over. More...

While the appearance of the website could use some updating, they have great planning forms online. It helped a lot to see what songs they have and what we needed to provide. We had many special requests, and they were happy to play what we gave them. John did a great job at our wedding. He was easy to work with, and our guests had so much fun! More...

This Dj was very nice professional and looked great the day of the service. We only had a few negatives which in the end did not affect the quality of service or anything on our wedding day. There were a few times that we could not get ahold of them. We would call number that would only lead to fax machines, we would email and wait days for a response. They would claim they sent us emails that we never saw. The website needs a new look it is very 80's, however don't let that scare you as much as it scared us! The planning tool was great and easy to use, but every time you wanted to get to it you had to go through many steps that you had already filled out. We also felt pressure to get a lighting package because our dj assured us it would be dark and we would need the 88 dollar lighting, so we got it after much hesitation. In the end i hardly noticed the lights and wish we wouldn't have got them. With that being said the day of our wedding they were amazing! Not cheesy at all no advertising banners, very professional and a good value!! They got everyone moving and new what to play and when. We wouldn't have chosen anyone else they were great!! More...

Kerry provided everything we asked for: 80s rock & pop, old time dance music for my parents and older guests, karaoke (with provisions for the bride to be the first one! !).
