Services

Assistance to start your day well Help to get up, wash, shower or bathe, get dressed and have breakfast. That can also include help using the bathroom and toilet, cleaning your teeth, and shaving Preparation for bed Help with undressing and getting into bed. Continence care Including clinical waste service. Help with grooming Hair washing, drying, and combing, shaving, foot care, and personal hygiene management. Also help with choosing and looking after your clothes. Healthcare Managing your medication, recognising and discussing your health needs, and making appointments for you with healthcare professionals. Food preparation Support with making drinks, menu planning, food shopping, cooking and food preparation.

Social Care Academy's service enables you to remain in your own home, as independently as possible, while being fully supported by a live-in Care Worker.     Social Care Academy can care for people with the following needs:  Daily activities  Companionship  Cooking meals  Domestic duties  Shopping  Accessing local support  Advantages of having a live-in carer  Dedicated care- dedicated one-to-one care  Peace of mind - live safe in the knowledge that someone is available to help if there is a problem  Holidays and way of life - able to go on holidays with a full-time care worker  Specialist care workers - Our live -in care workers are specially trained to deal with such conditions as dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke and more

One of our team of Care Workers can visit you or accompany you and add a vital human element to your day. They will become a trusted, friendly face, someone to share your interests with, while offering companionship.  Going to collect pension or visiting the bank  Shopping for food, clothes or other items  Going to leisure activities  Enjoying a chat over a cup of tea  Company while doing crafts or hobbies  Playing cards, chess, draughts, etc  Going to a day service  Visiting a community centre  Using public transport  Company and transport for doctor and hospital appointments
