Enigma Creative always come up with the goods! The attention to detail on design projects is second to none. The work is always delivered in excellent time and always before the deadline. Nothing is too much trouble and Lee even handles emergency jobs with the same conscientiousness and professionalism as he would with a long lead time. What makes a great website?
Simple and easy to navigate website always win. Clean and clear calls-to-action, with individual experiences for desktop, tablet and mobile. Image optimisation is another important factor, to ensure fast loading speeds. Everything on a site should have a place, and everything should have a reason for being there!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Timescales and budgets are two VERY important questions at the start of any process. That saves a lot of time at the outset! If those two questions raise any issues, then any other questions are unnecessary!
If all is good, then we delve into the reason for the new site, to fully understand what is required from the client and also from the visitors of the new site. We have a simple questionnaire we use to start with, as that gives us a basic understanding from the outset.
What do you love most about your job?
I am a creative at heart and always have been. I always look at every job and ask... "would I be happy to receive this if I was the client". I pride myself on attention to detail and always aim to deliver 'more' than what is expected. I think that is why I have so many long-standing clients, some of which have been with me for over twenty years!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Don't get me wrong! I have worked for some great companies in the past, but working for yourself gives you ultimate creative freedom and also the drive to deliver your best work every time. When you love your job, it's not really a job, it's just what you do!
