When discussing a new project with my clients I look to gauge how valuable to the project is to the client. To assess this I will first ask simple questions to understand what my client's goals are and do what they hope to achieve from the project, from this we can build a mission statement. Depending on the project, I may ask clients why they feel they need a developer to handle this project, is there an "off the shelf" product that can deliver something cheaper and just as effective? This might seem strange, but my goal is to help clients find the best solution for their situation at the time. Clients may not be aware of pre-developed solutions that will save time and money. On the flip side, a bespoke solution might be better here, so this is an opportunity for me to evaluate the situation and provide a fair consultation.

Finally, I like to understand a rough budget and expected timescales.

I love the satisfaction I get when clients/users are happy with the work I have delivered. It's great when a website you have applied all your efforts to is released to the public for people to use, especially if the changes you have made are contributing towards a company's success.

I have wanted to start a business since the age of 16. I decided to take the plunge at the age of 28 and I've never looked back since. I saw Endeavour as an opportunity to take the positives and negatives that I have experienced when working with other companies and applying my learnings to my own creation.
