What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people. Little else brings me as much excitement and joy as working with others to dig into the trenches, come alongside them and help them reach new levels of insight or development they may not have arrived at alone. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart, and as a small business owner myself, I know how lonely the journey can sometimes feel. I know the power of relationship and finding business partners who can help you take your business to the next level.

What inspired you to start your own business?
There has been an incredible surge in small businesses - especially female-led businesses - in the last several years. I noticed that although there were plenty of business or HR consultants out there, there wasn't really any HR help catered to small business needs. As a small business owner myself in partnership with my husband (www.purrsandgrrrs.com), I know first-hand how small-mid sized biz needs are vastly different than those of a larger company/brand.
I created empowerHR Consulting to be Your Small Business HR Partner and to provide personalized HR solutions for your unique small business needs.
