Counselling is a therapy which is safe and confidential, this involves talking with a non judgemental and empathetic person, about any problems you feel you may have.
Sometimes saying how you feel can be difficult with family and friends. You may feel the subject matter is just too sensitive . You may fear that others will judge you or be shocked by your thoughts and feelings.
Some of the reasons why people may feel they need counselling are connected to: Home, work, education, relationships, childhood issues or just life in general. Here are some examples of issues which may be helped by counselling:
Depression, stress or anxiety about past, present or future
Bereavement or loss
Difficulties in relationships
Trauma and traumatic experiences
The aim of counselling is to help you understand yourself better and use this understanding to gain control of your life, helping you choose what is right for you.
Counselling is all about you, giving you the opportunity to talk about your concerns, worries or issues in a confidential, safe and relaxing environment. This would be your time to express how you really feel. I will help you explore your situation and give you the time and space to find your own way through.

Sue, is just wonderful. So patient and caring. Very imformative. She put me at ease from when we first met. Good listener, non judgemental. Sometime that's all a person needs, for someone to listen. Susan is amazing she never pushes you and very professional I feel so safe talking to her
Thank u Susan xx
I met with Susan during one of the toughest moments life's thrown at me. I will be forever thankful. Susan helped me to see not only the reality of my situation but also that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Those sessions spent talking were without a doubt a saviour. I wouldn't think twice about recommending anyone needing someone to talk to, to go to see Susan. It's two years on for me and I still draw on conversations we had if my mind starts to wander. Undoubtedly the most genuine, caring and empathetic woman I've had the pleasure of knowing. Hopefully I'm in a place where I don't need to talk for the long term future, but I know that if I needed to, I would return straight back to this wonderful woman. More...

I would not hesitate to recommend Elizabeth Brown.
I was a broken man when I first met Elizabeth. I had various issue in my life, not coping with with past personal trauma and suffering work related stress that led to a mental breakdown.
I believe I am fortunate that my GP sought help for me and it was Elizabeth who was my counsellor.
I felt safe to open up to her, she listened and always put my wishes first. We worked through my issues and I always looked forward to our sessions as I felt I was getting my life back.
I am a stronger person after therapy with Elizabeth, you cannot erase the past but she enabled me too understand my thoughts and feelings without guilt and sorrow.
My wife and daughter say they have their husband and daddy back, thank you Elizabeth.
