We chose to use Emmest photography because we loved the photographs on the website - the style of them was exactly what we were looking for. We contacted Emma immediately and were delighted when she said that she was available for our date. We met with Emma in advance of the wedding, so that we could discuss the arrangements and she could get a feel of what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Emma could not have been any better. Neither me or my partner like having our photograph taken, but Emma put us at ease and was totally unobtrusive. Emma had our online photo album ready for when we got back from honeymoon - the photos were absolutely fantastic. She captured the day in such a wonderful way. We chose Emma to capture our special day after browsing through literally hundreds of wedding photographers online. We loved Emma's natural style and wanted someone to capture the day very naturally and without photos looking too posed and false. We felt confident after meeting Emma that she was the perfect photographer to do all this and she hasn't disappointed! She was so accommodating and tailored a package perfect for us. Emma was really professional, patient and friendly and really did blend into the background and yet still managed to capture the day perfectly. She took so many beautiful photos and we cannot wait to see the final DVD and printed photos. Emma's communication was excellent both before and after the wedding and our guests absolutely loved the photo booth she set up for us in the evening, it was such fun! It was quite a thing, trying to find the perfect photographer for our wedding, but having stumbled across Emma's work, I knew we had found someone quite special with a very impressive talent. Her website and the photos shown on it were quite spectacular, her shooting style and attention to detail were unmatched by anyone else we had spoken to. Emma was the photographer at our wedding 3 weeks ago and we were very impressed with her professionalism and, of course, her stunning photos. Our wedding day was absolutely freezing but Emma didn't cut any corners during our shoot down on the seafront. She was constantly enthusiastic and knew exactly how to direct us for the best shots. We contacted a lot of photographers in an effort to find the right one for our Big Day. After talking to Emma over the phone and a meeting, we both instinctively felt she was the right person to do it. She listened to us, and really helped us figure out what we wanted (having never had professional photos taken ever before!). On the day (we married at the Royal Pavilion on 26 Aug 2012) she was just great. Staying in the background for the casual shots, we barely knew she was there until it came to the portraits, and she took control and made sure everything was just right. We also had pictures taken on the seafront, and she knew the right shots to put together.At the Reception, her presence was barely noticeable and yet she took some amazing pictures. One of our guests commented that at their son's wedding they had to ask the photographer to leave because they were so imposing and intrusive. This most definitely wasn't the case with Emma...and as everyone sat down for food she quietly slipped away. Perfect.We received over 500 pictures on disc, and selected 50 for a printed album. We would highly recommend going for all of the pictures on disc so you don't have the agony of trying to discard any! The album was beautifully designed, and we even had some additional copies printed for parents - which they loved.As well as being a highly talented photographer, Emma is a lovely person, and we're so pleased she took our pictures. Emma photographed our wedding in March. We met with her twice before hand where we discussed with her all the details of the day. I felt comforted and assured that she knew how the day was going to run and what we wanted from her. At the church she made sure we got all the pictures we had asked for without being too pushy (like some photographers i have seen at weddings!) The weather was not ideal on the day but Emma did not let that hinder our pictures at all-she came up with ways to make the most of the weather and chose some really beautiful places to take the pictures. Our guests LOVED the photo booth Emma did- they still talk about it now. Our pictures were promptly posted on her website after the wedding so there was hardly any waiting around to see them. Emma came to our house to do a photo shoot of our extended family of 6 adults and 4 children under 3. Emma was really accommodating of all our requirements and very patient with the little ones. My wife & I are glad she was available! And even more so at Emma wanting to be part of the big day with the last minute changes we had made. The results were amazing, organising a crowd of people (like herding cats some would say) and offering fantastic photo opportunities with the new family as a group and intimately with my wife and I.<br />My wife and I not being big on having our photos taken were completely put at ease by Emma who made this a really fun part of our big day - which is often referenced and always brings smiles.<br />Along with providing great photo opportunities Emma was everywhere, without being obtrusive. Myself and a group of friends hired Emma's photography services as a wedding gift in August this year. The happy couple in question were on a budget and thinking about not having a photographer at all, so the idea to club together was a bit last minute. <br /><br />I approached 4 local photographers for quotes and Emma came back as being the best of the bunch. She was totally understanding of the<span id="moreReview146284" class="hide"> circumstances and very helpful with putting together an affordable package that everyone was happy with.<br /><br />On the day, she was an absolute professional covering the start of the ceremony through to the reception. She was open to any suggestions regarding shots and also came up with some ideas that turned out to be lovely photos. All in all she produced a great choice of images.<br /><br />The photos were available to view online within a couple of weeks and anyone who wanted to could purchase prints of their choice which was an added bonus.<br /><br />Ultimately, the bride and groom were absolutely thrilled with the gift the coverage and the photos, they received a cd and prints of their choice which they love and now have pride of place in their living room. Emma made their day truly extra special and they and their family and friends will now have beautiful mementos to keep forever. Emma (Emmest) photographed my wedding last year in Brighton and she made it such an enjoyable, stress free day! Emmest Photography covered my wedding and we had great communication from the start. Nothing was too much trouble and they went into great detail to find exactly what we wanted from the photography.
