Emma is the most loveliest, down to earth and relatable PT I know! She is so kind and caring and in the she helps you feel relaxed and not get the gym anxiety we all known and dread! ! She doesn’t make you feel ashamed or embarrassed of yourself she helped you feel content and at last happy in your own skin! and in the short time that I have been doing PT with her, she has honestly helped me change my life! She has helped me not only physically but mentally she has helped me get out of a very dark place that I was in and I will forever be grateful! For the last 4 months I have been training with Emma twice a week. Initially I started as I had lost my motivation in the gym and wanted to become more enthusiastic towards working out. I now look forward to going and honestly miss training with her in between sessions! Not only has she improved my training but she has really helped me mentally, I leave every session very happy, positive and focused. Emma is quite simply an amazing PT. I’ve been with her just under a year and in this time I’ve had health issue after issue. She has not once lost her patience (or got moody like some PTs I’ve worked with have). She has been understanding, helped me adapt my plan and training and been there for me way above and beyond. I have been having PT sessions with Emma for a year now and I LOVE it. I was in a position where my back had become weak and was causing me major pain at work (hairdresser). I needed to strengthen it rather than continue to take pain relief . I was nervous, but Emma is amazing and I've never looked back. I have become so much stronger, toned and continue to do so. The difference in my appearance after just 7 weeks with Emma was amazing ! I had got into a rut and was looking for inspiration and guidance and I got that in abundance from Emma . Emma is a very kind, knowledgable and patient PT. Emma really takes the time to get to know you and what you are trying to achieve . Couldn't recommend anyone more highly!!!
I signed up for 10 sessions with Emma, which was over the course of 2 months. I really dislike gyms and I struggle to get movitatied to excerise or just to do anything, my weeks are different due to uni and work but Emma's really flexible, easy and could always fit me in.
Thanks to Emma she educated me about food, the body and how to motivate yourself with achievable goals. As well as sending me emails about home workouts and food ideas.

I see Emma once a week with a friend, Emma makes me feel at ease with the exercises, she pushes us but makes sure we are happy with what we are doing. I enjoy the meals on my meal plan and have got into a good routine with healthy eating. I have also seen a steady progression with my changing body shape since being with Emma and following her exercise and meal plans. I started training with Emma 2 months ago and absolutely loved it!

Her training and diet plans are so in detail that I never felt like I was running out of ideas or didn't know what I was doing,Having our weekly catch up meant we could reflect on the week and work on what I had to improve on that constant support is like nothing else

Training with her was so fun and always made our workouts enjoyable as well as pushing me when normally if I was training on my own I would of stopped! The diverse workout meant we were always doing something new and fun with a giggle along the way!

I'm a month in since starting my training sessions and I love it!!

Emma absolutely kills me BUT I enjoy the sessions and always go away feeling like I've had a good work out! (Which is what you want when paying for a PT) �

Having em send me weekly meal and training plans helps me so much giving me something to stick to. As well as weekly check ins which is nice and not always what you get elsewhere so it's a bonus!

Can already see results so Emma's magic is working on me! Would 10000% recommend!!

Started PT with Emma a couple months ago now and I love it. Not only does she push me every session, she also offers great meal and diet advice. Ive wanted to do PT sessions for a long time but never wanted to do this at a gym due to confidence etc. I then found emma and loved the fact she does this within her own home. I started going to Emma a couple of months ago, wanting to build myself back up and gain strength again due to injury.

Emma is so so lovely and supportive, she never made me do anything I couldn’t do and slowly helped to build my strength up without pushing me too far, and setting me backwards which is what happened with previous pt’s ive had.

Emma is such a great pt and thanks to her I was able to have the strength to ski, which I never thought would be possible again!

It’s so refreshing to meet a PT that promotes a balanced lifestyle and who admits to eating naughty food from time to time cus we all know eating celery 24/7 is unrealistic! I can’t recommend Emma enough, she’s so encouraging and motivating. 5 stars for this chick. Emma is so informative and passionate about what she does and she’s always there to answer my questions or concerns about anything!

I’ve been on Emma’s 8 week plan for a few weeks now. There are so many yummy recipes on the plan. I can still eat all my favourite foods like thai curry and dark choc so it never gets boring! There are lots of healthy food replacements too which I would’ve never thought of myself and they are still soo yum.

The PT sessions I’ve had with Emma were great – I follow my workout plan at the gym (due to living away) and they’re challenging and always different. I actually look forward to exercising out now! Emma will check in weekly and make small changes to my plan to suit my needs, which keeps me motivated and you know you’re always progressing!

I cannot recommend Emma enough. Super professional and makes you feel super at ease. I train with Emma twice a week, one day on legs and bum and the other on arms and abs. If I could give 10 stars here I would. No workout is the ever the same and always varied! I use to dread the gym or PT sessions having exercises I found impossible to do but with Emma I don't I'm actually excited to work out and all exercises are tailored to you. She makes working out fun and ensures whatever your goal no matter how small or how big is broken down and achievable! I've been with Emma since 20th August 2018 and I'm so impressed! I am in my late 40's and have always wanted to have a PT but always made excuses as to why I couldn't/shouldn't. But after suffering with severe back pain for a very long time, and it worsening with my hairdressing career, I was recommended to Emma and haven't looked back.I have now had around 24 hours/sessions with Emma and I am so much stronger, have more muscle definition and my body recovers quicker now in the mornings (which was my most painful part if the day). I'm not doing it to lose weight, only to be stronger and toned. Emma is brilliant and pushing me to where she knows my body can cope. Besides being an amazing and motivational PT, Emma is so lovely and makes you feel at ease in her company and during your workouts. I'm half way through my 10 sessions with Emma and I can feel such a difference in my confidence, strength and self worth. She is so accommodating to your requests and tailors your workouts to your target areas which makes me know that she's working me hard and pushing me towards my desired results. I loved training with Emma, so personable and always made me laugh even when she was making me do excersises I really really dislike but still pushed me as far as I could go and was also so helpful when it came to food and behaviour and food options as that’s something I definitely struggle with the most.

Also another huge thing was motivation with fitness, going to emma once a week helped give me a structure I couldn’t skip out on and due to my job being self employed Emma was also as flexible as she could be with when I could squeeze a session in if I had to miss one because of work. Emma has been a life changer for me. After getting married and having my little boy I piled on the weight until I was really unhappy. Since starting with Emma 6 weeks ago I have lost 11lb in weight and inches have gone from my bingo wing arms � (I hated them) and my tummy. She has given me home work outs to do throughout the week and has also adapted them, due to me having a dodgy knee.

Emma is extremely personable and passionate at what she does .
She is truly a god send, I had low self esteem after gaining a lot of weight and I was too insecure and scared to go to a gym .

I have been training with her for over a month now and I am totally hooked .
I have noticed a big difference in my body and my well being.

Q&As

We take one step at a time to avoid the common 'over-whelm' that we see a lot when it comes to fitness. Step 1 is to get into a consistent exercise routine if you're not already, we will then adjust the process for you accordingly.

It is simple.. meaning it is also simple to NOT do it. It doesn't mean it's not hard, but it can be simple.

Consistency, a smarter diet and exercise progression.

Learn to enjoy the process, follow something that is sustainable and maintainable in the long run ?

Seeing people on their first session who may be slightly apprehensive, a little nervous.. going from that to a more confident individual who we can sense a positive change in themselves. THAT'S what we like to see ?

To do something a bit different, to take a risk and ultimately, to help people.

We can fully relate with the feeling of starting out in a busy, commercial gym- not knowing the ropes, therefore being able to cater for those who feel more comfortable training privately and for those who either don't or can't have gym memberships.

We don't believe in 'hard sells' and will only sell our trial or membership to you if we think it's a fit on both parts. It's important to us that it'll work for you as well as us. We want to maintain our kind and friendly environment as much as possible, so we only want individuals who want to be here, and who are committed. If you want it enough (and enjoy it) you'll stick to it!

It's our job to then guide, educate and motivate you.

Only to some degree, the nature of our main service is face-to-face for ultimate accountability. We know you're working hard enough if we're there with you!

Anti-bac and wipes are provided. Session times are spaced out with a 10 minute gap which allows for extra cleaning such as equipment and frequently touched areas.

Services

Get more bang for you buck, and get personally trained more frequently. At Square One we train all of our clients in small groups of up to 6. This means our sessions are personal and not like a fitness class or circuit training.
