What do you love most about your job?
As a nurturing, earthy type I love bringing gardens alive, particularly those that have lacked a little love. I delight in the transformation that goes on and how a garden changes from season to season. I am serious about my gardens and give 100% to each task regardless of what it is.
I also get a big kick from teaching and guiding people into gardening for themselves. I love seeing their faces light up and the satisfaction they get from what they achieve.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been self-employed and enjoy being my own boss. So it was second nature for me to create this business after re-training for two years in Horticulture at SRUC, Scotlands leading college for my line of work. I love the flexibility of doing lots of different things within the horticulture sector and working for and guiding people to get the best from their gardens, whether to make them pretty or to grow their own produce!

I believe that I can offer clients a friendly and professional service tailored to the client's needs and requirements. All projects, long term or short term are given equal attention and I strive to be the best while being competitively priced.
I have HND Horticulture (with distinction) certification, PA1 and PA6W spraying qualifications and have been gardening for 20 years, and in business for 4.5 yrs. I have full public liability insurance cover.

I work with businesses etc. to deliver gardening workshops in the workplace. This has been found to boost staff morale, mindfulness and well-being while removing/reducing stress levels. Delivered at your workplace, with all materials provided in a friendly safe and fun environment.
