This was my first time getting cupping and it was a great experience. Kim was wonderful and has created a safe and relaxing environment. She has a heated table! Kim is a great conversationalist and even better massage therapist. I had fusion back surgery from a car accident. 2 rods and 10 screws holding my back together which limits my range of motion. Some days I’m in extreme pain. I never had a massage before so going into this I was pretty nervous. I used to do taekwondo for 15 years and never really took care of myself. I rock climbed a lot but I had an accident that made me skeptical about rock climbing again. I never got my back checked after my accident (cause I was cheap and felt fine after a month or two) but i met Kim at my mom's restaurant and she was more than happy to help. She gave me her card and I went in. I was a bit late but she was more than happy to let that go and get right to work! Oh.My.God. she knows exactly what she's doing. I am a former student athlete and still play sports competitively so I've had my fair share of injuries. This is the best Ashiatsu /deep tissue in Utah you can receive. I travel for work all over the world , and have gone to the best in all of those places but I find that Kim does the best job of helping me with my carpal tunnel and sciatica for pain relief management. I’m not one to be comfortable with having people touch or feel my body and I usually will shy away from doing “experimental” things I’ve never heard of. I met Kim when she came for an appointment at my workplace. We got to talking and I told her about my aches and pains. She told me to come and see her and she’ll help take those pains away and help me to feel rejuvenated with this thing called cupping. I did it today and it feels weirdly great. I found Kim when searching for a massage therapist. I had been experiencing some chronic soreness in my back muscles and so I was looking for a professional who could give me a deep tissue massage; a therapeutic experience and not just mere relaxation. When searching the google results via google maps I saw the Emissary of Light posting and the reviews. I rely on reviews for most things and was very impressed by the overall score.
