Emily Veness Budin has diverse experience in luxury retail. Predominant expertise is in Makeup Artistry and Learning and Development, with 12 years’ experience in Makeup Artistry and 10 years’ experience in course creation, facilitation and in-store coaching.
• Prior to her role at Dolce & Gabbana, Emily was the National Training Manager for international luxury brands including Christian Dior (3 years) and L’Occitane (1.5 years).
• Began her training career as the Training Executive for Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics, Australia’s no 1 makeup brand with 73 Concept Stores across Australia and in US department stores, Bergdof Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstorm, and Ulta and held this position for 4 years. Before this promotion, she worked on the shop-floor with the brand and had the top ATV nationally and consecutively was the top seller at beauty expos and masterclasses.
• Experience backstage as a Makeup Artist at MBFW and RAWF – Fashion Weeks with Napoleon Perdis Brand.
• Has a side hobby as a freelance celebrity and beauty journalist and currently writes for Grazia magazine.
As well as training the internal team Emily trained courses that were part of the Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy, including Paparazzi Ready – Personal Skills Makeup Workshop and The Certificate in Fashion, Glamour and Bridal. http://napoleonperdis.com/aus/courses.
