It took us a while to find the perfect photographer as we knew we wanted our photos to be relaxed and a little alternative and we were so please when we finally found Emilie. She's was really relaxed and laid back on the wedding day which we loved and it was just like a friend was taking our photos for us. Emilie May was the first thing that we booked for our wedding, and one of the best decisions we made. She was the perfect wedding photographer. She was friendly and approachable in the lead up to the wedding, and we really enjoyed sharing the day with her. She always responded quickly to any queries via e-mail and she also helped us to find a great videographer (Jo Gendle) at late notice, so we really can’t thank her enough. She was always available for advice and she met with us a few times before the wedding to get a sense of what we wanted.
Just a couple of days after the wedding, Emilie emailed a few pictures to give us a flavour of what was to come. We were thrilled, as we hadn’t expected her to send pictures so quickly.
We received our beautiful wedding package in the post a couple of weeks ago. Everything, from the sample of prints to the stylish, fabulously presented wedding box, reflected Emilie’s care and attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos – they completely capture the fun we had on the wedding day, and we don’t know how she managed to capture some of the images, as she was so discrete. They are beautiful, stylish and have the very natural feel that we wanted. We were also delighted to receive a little clip of photos to a song that we really love.

Emilie made us feel so at ease right from the word go. We live abroad, so planning our wedding was a little trickier, but Emilie made everything so simple. She helped us prepare for the day and then when the day came she captured the atmosphere perfectly. We both felt incredibly relaxed and loved how Emilie managed to capture the key moments without every interfering with our day. She even saved me from a near hair disaster after my curls started to flag �. Thank you Emilie for capturing our special day so perfectly, we absolutely love the photographs they are fantastic! It took me quite a while to find the right photographer as i knew i wanted a really relaxed and natural style with as little staged photographs as possible, and as soon as i met Emilie i knew that she was the right person to do this. She was completely relaxed and professional on the day and let us dictate how much time we wanted to spend having photographs taken. Emilie was also a massive help on the day (coming to my rescue with a much needed hair grip!) and we had so many compliments on how lovely she was on the day from our guests and other suppliers. Emilie captured our Indian wedding day at Styal lodge in Cheshire and the results were more than perfect! She's such a treat to work with and very relaxed in her approach which, in turn, made us both feel totally at ease on the day!

Her communication to the build up of the day was fantastic and very professional. She sent out a booklet with tips which was very handy.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Thank you Emilie!

Emilie photographed our wedding with the help of Clare at Healey Barn in Northumberland and we couldn't be happier.

We first met Emilie at a friends wedding and were amazed at the way in which she had captured the theme and special moments of their day. We knew we were in safe hands but couldn't imagine how special the photos of our day would turn.

Emilie was professional and helpful from the moment we made our first enquiry to the point of receiving the final photos. They were great to be around on the day, but in no way intrusive, putting guests at ease during the day. The photos themselves were amazing and we couldn't have asked for any more - they really were perfect.

Thank you Emilie - we hope to see you at someone else's wedding soon - we couldn't recommend you highly enough.

We’ve been married almost 2 years and I’ve just realised I totally forgot to give Emilie the review she so deserves. Before the wedding Emilie came to meet with us not once but twice, even sending out tips for the day for the photos in advance, along with a sheet for you to tell her any specific shots you want to be taken. Her communication before the day was perfect and professional. My mum described Emilie perfectly after our wedding day: “you are so much more than a photographer”. From helping me get ready in the morning, last minute organisations, to just being simply the lovely person that she is... I know it’s cliché but I really did not know she was there all day!!!! & then you receive your wedding photographs!!!! The most beautiful package was received by us, containing the most amazing photos. They’re timeless and I will never stop loving them. I cannot recommend Emilie enough! Emilie flew out to Ibiza for our wedding and we trusted her judgement 10000% She was simply perfect in every way. She has a great eye for shots and she blended in like she was part of the family. After the service she provided me and my husband will always consider her a friend and will recommend her to everyone and anyone.
