For years I have simply just got my haircut at great clips etc but I wanted to give my hair some shape like a bob. I found this place online and choose it based on the decor reviews and same day appointment! I am never going anywhere else the price was on point! It came with a very kind hair stylist who did an amazing job on my hair! A glass of wine or other beverage. I got a head message with a warm mask on face and she styled and blowed dried my hair! This is a new salon to me.  Steve, my hairstylist of many years, moved from a salon in Louisville to Emerge Modern Salon in Denver on Broadway.  I'm from Los Angeles and used to salons and stylists having an attitude to go along with the $200+ haircuts.  What's great about Steve is not only is he an extremely talented hairstylist, he's personable and down to earth.  No attitude at all.  I'll now drive from Louisville to Denver but Steve is worth it!  Yesterday was the first time I went to Emerge.  The salon has a friendly atmosphere, and it was a nice experience altogether.  The owner was very kind, introduced herself to me and made me feel welcomed. Long story short, I was at a different salon where the stylist completely ignored what I said I wanted and instead of cutting an inch off, she decided it was better if she cut a whole 3 inches off, I was livid. When I came to Emerge, I was filled with anxiety and Beth took me in with open arms! I absolutely LOVED her. She was very personable, very polite, she kept the conversation going instead of keeping it awkward like some stylists do. We bounced ideas off each other to see what should be done with my hair and she made sure I was comfortable with the length/style. I went to a barber shop and instead of a trim I got the most horrendous bob and bangs. Ugh. Chloe assured me it could be fixed and booked me with Carrie. I am obsessed with this salon (both past and present location). The atmosphere, products, and customer service are all amazing. I love that they serve wine, cider, fruit infused water, and snacks. All of the hair stylists are amazingly talented but Kaye is a true artist when it comes to both color and cuts and really cares about customer satisfaction. After moving from San Francisco I tried a few different stylists, but I could not find anyone as good as my  stylist in SF who did my hair over 15 yrs. Today I had a cut appointment with Carrie, and I can'tbe Happier. I've wanted to cut my hair short for a while, but the only stylist I could trust  was my old stylist. My hairline hair is not very corporative if shorter than shoulder length and whoever cut really need to know what he/she is working with. Brittany is hands down the best hair stylist/colorist that I have ever been to in the Denver Metro area. She listens to what I want and then poof! My hair magically appears looking better than what I envisioned. She works quickly without taking any shortcuts. In the past, previous stylists that highlighted my hair would use less foils to get the job done quicker. This made my hair color look streaky and unnatural. Raquel gives great hair! If you have some curl or texture to your hair she will bring it out and make you look great. She does my 2 kids hair as well and not only do they get great haircuts they love her as well. The salon is light and bright and the rest of the staff are friendly as well. Emerge gives a 5-Star experience from the start (complimentary drinks/light snacks) but it's the dependable and consistent excellence of the cut that will keep me coming back. Carry is sweet and humble, but it's no wonder she's a Master; her precision and attention to detail makes even the most jaded customer at ease (I've had a lot of bad Groupon haircuts and have had a hard time trusting someone enough to return for their services). I love this salon, after my first visit I am making this my go-to salon. I got a haircut from Angela and she was amazing. I especially appreciated that she explained her techniques for the haircut and her approach . After I explained the look I was going for she explained how she would accomplish this, and then when she styled me she thoroughly explained the purpose for each product she used and her styling techniques. Also, I believe that what makes a business great is attention to detail and this salon nails that.
