Attorney Elsa T. Gonzales has been practicing law since 1986. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association for more than 30 years. Her office is centrally located in the Oak Lawn area a few miles from the Arts District and downtown Dallas.
Her firm represents clients in all aspects of immigration law including employment, business, family, citizenship, removal defense, and federal litigation.
Ms. Gonzales is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. She also holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington with a major in political science and public administration, respectively. She has dedicated her entire career to the practice of immigration law. Prior to establishing her firm, Ms. Gonzales was employed as an associate for an AV rated law firm specializing in immigration law. Prior to attending law school Ms. Gonzales was employed by the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency, where she gained valuable experience in the inner workings of a federal agency. She has served as lecturer and trainer for applicants seeking BIA accreditation status. Ms. Gonzales has also participated as a speaker in community related events.
She has successfully represented clients before the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. State Department, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
