The hotel in general was very good. My wife is disabled. and has to use a wheelchair for nearly all of the time. The hotel could have been better for wheelchair use, but the staff were excellent and helped us in every way possible, We would definitely visit again when in the area.

We stayed in the lodge annex to the main hotel. The rooms were quite basic as hotel rooms go, but were clean and with no major faults or issues. + The staff were very polite and friendly; they really could not have been better. We arrived after the kitchen had officially closed, but the staff were able to arrange some bar meals.- The glass shelf in the ensuite bathroom was not level and toiletries would slide forwards off the shelf. This was a minor irritation. A bigger problem was that the hotel advertised free WiFi for residents, however this was seldom working with internet access. This was a significant inconvenience for us because our mobile phones had a poor signal and ofter less than a 3G connection. The Lodge is sort of like the bargain area for the peasants that cannot afford the main hice.||But, to be fair to The Lodge, it was clean, convenient, quiet, tidy. ||What more do you want from a hotel which is cheaper (and nicer) than the Premier Inn/Travelodge chain. ||The rooms were/are bigger than those above, the shower room especially so. Could nearly swing a dead cat. Unlike in those mentioned above.||The TV was very small. A 32" job which in this day and age isn't big.||||Breakfast was very nice! Good sausages, bacon (scrambled eggs looked a bit.....so I didn't try them), lots of cereals, cold meats, toasts and breads.||Oh, crap sachet 'English' mustard was the other downside to breakfast.||||All in All, a pleasant stay.||I would stay again. We had to book a hotel to attend a family funeral in the local area.After searching various sites found this on the booking. com site and as it was near to where we needed to be booked it via their web-site.At £69:56 it appeared to bre good value(the rate included breakfast).||||Advised the hotel we wouldn't be booking in until about 21:00..no problem.||Checking in was nice and easy,friendly staff showed us to our room,which turned out to be equipped as a disabled room(we aren't,but ideal for those who area).||||Rooms are comfortable with TV,Coffee/tea making facilities. Bathroom, in our case a 'wet 'room was spacious,with the usual shower/basin/toilet.||||Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning in our room was a little noisy.||||Breakfast(which was included in our rate was ok),all the usual items,yoghurt,fruit,cereal's,bacon/eggs/tea or coffee,was a good start to a difficult day for our family.||||The only draw back for us was our room as are some of the others backs onto a very busy road network and a little traffic noise late into the evening/early morning was heard(mostly trucks and 'bikers',but this apart would recommend to others More...

Wi-Fi was very poor had hard time connecting and when told reception treated us like we didn’t know how to put the password in properly stayed 4 nights and couldn’t use the internet at all.

Staff were very friendly, warm welcome on check-in and shown to room. Dinner was lovely, we had steaks and they were gorgeous, perfectly cooked and generous portions. Starters and deserts excellent too - particularly enjoyed my crumble. ||Lounge area pleasant, enjoyed a couple more drinks there in a nice relaxing atmosphere.||The morning breakfast was also really nice - hot buffet, but all perfectly cooked and fresh.||||Our room in the lodge was clean, tidy and nice - it lived up to the price paid and had all we needed. Shower was pleasantly powerful! ||||Hotel grounds were nice, and plenty of parking.||||Didn't find the bed particularly comfortable, but that's arguably personal preference, different people like different mattresses.||||I would have preferred curtains to the blinds, but they were OK.||||We were woken by noise a couple of times - our room backed on to storage cupboards which the staff must have been using early in the morning. We were very satisfied with our one night stay at Elme Hall hotel. Our room in the Lodge was spacious and very clean. The two arm chairs were especially welcome. The bathroom was equally pleasing although toiletries were at a bare minimum.||Our room on the ground floor looked out onto the very busy road but the double glazing coped well cutting out the traffic noise.||The location of the hotel was excellent in that it was only yards away from the roundabout on the A47 giving excellent access to the local road network.||Our breakfast was first class as were all the members of Staff-courteous,helpful,cheerful and efficient. It's an odd place to describe. It looks like a newish building built in an old style. But they have done a good job. A grand staircase up to the rooms.
