I went into Elizabethtown Florist to talk to Derrick with an idea for a garden party wedding. Little did I know I had four different themes going on garden party, rustic, vintage, and country. Derrick is a florist but he is also a fantastic wedding planner. They helped me change all of my rentals to make sure I stuck with the garden party theme throughout. My wedding day was May 14th 2016. I started walking towards my husband and all I could think was WOW Elizabethton Florist did it perfectly. My brother and I ordered flowers for our Mama's headstone on the 5th anniversary of losing her. Even though Derrick didn't have much lead time, I was more than pleased with the arrangement he made. I absolutely LOVED my bridal bouquet. I had ordered 1 bridal bouquet, 7 wrist corsages and 1 boutonniere. The flowers were fresh and the arrangement was beautiful. I spoke to Derrick Rice over the phone and told him how I wanted the flowers and he gave me more than I anticipated. I had the wedding at Ocean Isle Beach and they delivered the flowers to me on a sunday free of cost and even made the delivery before the allotted time. I worked with Elizabethtown Florist & Events for the first time this past weekend at River Landing Country Club in Wallace, NC. They provided both florals and the event planning for the event. Ruth and her staff were great from start to finish. We had some high winds come through before and during the wedding ceremony. Ruth and her staff did a wonderful job. The Bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Ruth is an amazing coordinator. She is detail oriented and has a calm sweet demeanor. She made sure every last detail at our wedding was perfectly planned and executed. We were in town for our daughters 21st birthday, we had never ordered flowers in ElizabethTown,NC so after riding along Main Street; I liked their window and decided to contact them to make a 'special arrangement' for our dinner table at Capefear Vineyards the following evening. Not only did Derrick handle my phone order with professionalism he went on to take them to the restaurant for us, and sent me a photo copy of the arrangement and emailed my receipt so that we could be sure our daughter had no idea what was taking place. There is nothing better than seeing a bride's face as she walks into a reception realizing her dream has been made a reality.
