The design process is a series of vital steps that a designer takes when working on a project. Each stage will differ depending on the design but the approach will always be similar. Skipping a stage, completing stages out of order or not using the process at all will result in a very poor outcome, which in no way resembles your design brief. Following our initial meeting Elizabeth England Design will form a tight and well thought out brief. From our design studio we produce a variety of concept boards and room layouts using the latest technology to produce two or three strong design ideas. Concepts and choices are refined and developed, through sketches. Achieving the right concept can be a lengthy process, with many drawings before the production of the final comprehensive format. Scale and proportions are illustrated and best use of spatial planning considered. Schematic planning will identify the maximum potential for the space and define a clear indication of how to best utilise the space and traffic flow. We will present initial design options for your input through development sketches and concept boards. The final products and designs are pulled together. Photo realistic visuals are created to ensure the design works well for you. Scale floor plans are drawn up in AutoCAD, to ensure each piece fits perfectly with the right amount of space to maneuver. Electrical plans are compiled in relation to furnishings, to ensure every plug, light and switch are correctly positioned during instillation. Final designs. Visuals, design board product specification, AutoCAD drawings, product catalogue and finishes schedule are handed to you.
