I found Steve when looking for a personal trainer to book as a Christmas present for my wife. I know my wife very well and I knew she would want a personal trainer that is motivating through encouragement. I contacted several other trainers and met with a couple. Steve stood out from the rest because he was very supportive and encouraging to the classes that he took rather than barking commands. Steve also encouraged me to attend as a joint session with my wife making the session’s better value and more fun. Steve visits after work and sometimes after the kids are in bed, he spends an hour with us taking us through our bespoke training regime. He keeps us wellmotivated and I really think we would have given up after the keen period, were it not for Steve. Steve has also helped us through some minor injuries (a bad knee and minor muscle pulls) by tailoring the exercise and very careful warm ups/ downs. With Steve’s help I have lost 15lbs and dropped 2 sizes of trousers, my wife was already at her ideal weight but has never looked so good with her clothes fitting her really well and very well-toned. Emma F Feeling fed up, frumpy and fat I knew I needed to do something to get myself out of the sluggish way I was constantly feeling. I found elevate fitness on the internet and thought I’d give it a go. Feeling very self-conscious I was very nervous about my first session but I needn’t have been. Steve immediately made me feel at ease and started with small achievable goals. Steve and Andy make the session’s fun and tailor them to your individual needs (my focus initially being my wobbly belly!!) I don’t even have to travel to work out as Steve and his team come over to me and we work out around a local lake. Losing weight and getting fit isn’t always easy and sometimes finding the motivation to keep going is difficult but Steve and Andy are always on hand to push you through these times and keep you motivated. The sense of satisfaction you get when you have finished a hard session and can feel that you have really worked out is fantastic. When getting to the top of the stairs was making me gasp for breath, I knew I had to do something about it and having developed hypothyroidism I felt I needed professional support. In the last nine months Steve has gently pushed me to improve and my overall fitness and health are steadily approaching where I want them to be. Steve’s approach is very supportive and even when you think you have given all you can, he will help you find that little bit extra desire to do more/go faster/lift higher.
