Cari is phenomenal at what she does. I came to her after having 3 other graphic designers try and put together a logo for me. The logos were ok but lacked a complete brand package. After providing me a very professional quote and questionnaire Cari was able to put together a logo, tagline, colors and branding that I loved with the first try. Cari is AMAZING! She listens, she gets and she curates exactly what you need. She is open to feedback and efficiently can adjust anything to meet your vision. I feel like she saw in my head what I wanted but added her creativity and made it even better. I craved a brand re-vision to something that ‘felt like me’ and that I could be proud of... and Cari and her team NAILED IT. Cari has a ‘can-do’ attitude, remains calm (even if she is stressed) and makes you feel like you are her only client (which I know isn’t true because she has a thriving business). What information do you need from a client before you start work?
General information about the company and the existing or desired brand they want to create. Timeline expectations. Budget expectations and what kind of communication style they work best with.
What sorts of printing projects do you usually cater for?
We do a lot of business collateral and multi-platform advertising creation for clients in several different service areas.
Describe your creative process.
We start with a conversation on what your expectations are. That is key. From there we can develop a detailed plan of attack sometimes including a brand strategy, deliverables, designs or design-styles you like and don't like and from there we get to work on mock ups and first ideas of layout and content. A lot of times your content dictates how a print piece or website is laid out. Understanding that can help make the process a lot smoother!

What do you love most about your job?
I love bringing ideas to life. You have a vision of what you want for your company and I get to make that vision take flight with great art, design and messaging to connect you with your customers and clients. It's a very rewarding thing to do!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I loved working in the advertising agency setting but there was always a communication gap between the artist and the account executive who worked directly with the client. At Elephant, our artists or myself are directly in touch with you so nothing is lost in communication.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a professional design firm providing a quality service at a fair price (boring, right). Well that's the core of it, the rest of it is: we provide kick-ass designs that get noticed, shared, and engaged with. You want your customers to notice you! Sometimes we have to have hard conversations with customers because their vision and our expertise in designing for results aren't on the same page. We pride ourselves on that ability to engage with you on a deeper level to get you what want, but in a way that will still get you results.
