OH MY LORD, this was literally the best food we have ever had in our entire lives! The Chicken Piccata and Eggplant Parmesan were out of this world! Angie helped facilitate the catering for our entire wedding and she did an amazing job. She provided feedback and suggestions to help create the perfect dishes for our guests. Stephane and his assistant were the most incredible waitstaff we have ever seen. Aside from being extremely attentive and kind-hearted to all of our guests, they created the most beautiful accents on the buffet tables and even broke down and lifted all of the heavy picnic tables after the event. Highly recommend Elegant Events Company, very responsive to messages, professional and very friendly. Five days before a surprise 40th Birthday I had booked 8 months ago I saw your beautiful led lit dance floor, not thinking for a chance I would be able to book this for my event, I sent a message and within 10 mins I had a response and the dance floor was booked! If you are looking for a venue and caterer for your event, no matter how big or how small, look no further than the Chula Vista Elks Lodge and R&B Catering. We held our high school's 40th reunion (Castle Park Hight School Class of 1977) at the Elks Lodge on Friday night, July 28. Ralph Ford worked with us every step of the way. He was easy to get a hold of whenever I had a question or needed more information. Ralph made himself available during the room set up and provided suggestions so that we could fit all of the memorabilia we had, which included an 8x4 banner, a photo booth, the registration table, DJ, and prize table. Ralph may have a rough and gruff demeanor, but he understands how important these events are, and will do whatever it takes to make it the best event. And he certainly delivered for us. The food that was catered by Ralph was awesome. We had a Hawaiian theme, so the faire included Kailua pork, teriyaki chicken, Jasmine stir fried rice, a lovely green salad and macaroni salad. The food tasted wonderful and was plentiful. The catering cost included 3 waite staff that served the food and did cleanup throughout the event. The staff was personable, polite and so helpful. In addition to the waite staff, there was security who inconspicuously kept an eye on everything and intuitively seemed to know when his presence was needed. The parking at the Elks Lodge was plentiful and easily handled the number of guests that showed up. And finally, the cost for the event was reasonably priced. This past weekend I had my wedding at the Elks Lodge. Planning up to the event was painless. Ralph was professional from start to finish. The food was delicious and many guests continue to give compliments. The set up looked gorgeous! The wait staff was attentive and polite to all of our guests. Elegant Events was amazing and went above and beyond to make my husband's 40th birthday truly special. The food was delicious, the set up was perfect, and Angie and her daughter Desirae were so much fun to work with. They made every single aspect of the evening so easy and enjoyable. I was the DJ for a Casino Night event last night and was blown away by the decor, even more so after learning it was all hand made and not store bought. This owner has incredible creativity who has obviously mastered her craft. As a DJ I am always paying attention to other vendors who I can refer to clients to ensure their perfect day flows in to a perfect night. Was looking to rent chiavari chairs for my baby shower. I found some sites, including Elegant Events, and submitted quote requests. I am so glad I went with Elegant Events. They got back to me within a day or so of receiving my quote request. They had a great price and throughout the process they were great with communication. They also made it easy to pay the deposit and the balance by emailing me invoices, which I paid online. They handled all the communiation with my venue. I was happy with the quality of the chairs. Of course a few chairs had a knick/scratch in them, but these are rental chairs...you have to expect that. My wedding was last month and I am still getting compliments from friends and family about how great the food was. Typically, wedding food is bland and not thought of after the meal. Everyone is still talking about how great the sauces were. To be honest I did not try any of the food during our tasting. My parents and my In Laws picked a Chicken Cordon Blu & a pork dish with a savory sauce. I originally wanted a friend who owns a vegan restaurant to cater my wedding, but the fathers insisted that there be meat served at the wedding. Ralph said that he could do a Vegan meal for myself and my husband. He also made a vegetarian meal for guests that do not eat meat. Ralph asked what we like to eat and we both mentioned that we are fans of fungi. We had a huge stuffed portobello mushroom that was delicious. The friend with the Vegan restaurant wanted to see what R&B had to offer. He said that he would not be to setup and server a banquet of 350 as fast as we needed. Ralph suggested having at least two buffet lines on opposite ends of the hall. ALL our guests were served and eating within 10-15 minutes. It was that quick! Not only did they provide the food, but R&B also setup linens, seat covers, and my DIY centerpieces Within 50 minutes! I'm very pleased with the outcome. Better late than never... I wanted to provide an honorable mention to R&B Catering for coming to my company's holiday party rescue last year, Dec. 11, 2015.We were left high and dry by a vendor we had used in the past, and were required to scramble last minute on acquiring items such as serving/cleaning staff, linens, and chairs. Ralph went above and beyond with providing us with a fantastic and cooperative staff. His staff was required to work with multiple vendors such as a caterer, bar staff, and a supply drop/pick off vendor. This team was able to handle it all seamlessly! Everything about Elegant Events, from ordering, delivery and food was just fantastic. Being caught in between moving offices, I was responsible for ordering food for a week-long event, Not wanting to worry about working with too many vendors, I decided to go with Elegant Events based on a colleague's recommendation and the reviews. In the end, I was extremely happy with how everything turned out. Joanna was very responsive, prompt and professional. My company uses these guys for working lunches at least twice a week. We get catered in lunches everyday but these guys are the best. They make so many different things we just never get tired of them like we do the other caterers. I wish we could use em everyday! We usually get this funny French guy that sets the food up. Let me tell you, this is the only one of our caterers who care what the buffet looks like. This guy makes everything look so nice. Yesterday we had BBQ day. I'm telling you the truth, I can't find good smoked BBQ like they served anywhere. Coming from Memphis I know good Que. I've been to all the joints around town, Sams, Blue Rock, Smoking Pig, Andy's etc. and none match up. Love their giant ass cookies too! Anyway, These guys ROCK More...

Linzi was perfect no issues what soever we told her what we required and the room was beautifully decorated we didn't even have to meet up did all over phone no problems at all would definitely recommend to anyone looking for chair covers for their wedding definitely wouldn't have wedding without chair covers and bows definitely helps to make the venue even more attractive thanks again Rachael and Antony Dunn xxxx
