Q&As

What makes a great website is the end users experience on any device that they are viewing on. Sure great design plays a huge role in this, but there is so much more that goes on behind the scenes that the user cannot see. In my opinion design and development go hand in hand. Without a well developed site or properly optimized site, your site will never rank well in Search Engine Results. Everyone these days are viewing from their mobile device, so if your sites not responsive, you're not noticed.

There are many questions that I ask before starting a project. Some questions are project specific depending on the type of project I am creating for you. But as a general rule, I want to know about you/your company, your clients, your potential clients and your competition. This way I can research and get a better feel for your company, your company's needs and can effectively execute a strategic concept that will standout in a crowded marketplace.

As stated above, I want to know about you/your company, your clients, potential clients and your competition. If you already have a brand established, I need to know your colors, your font styles, branding guidelines if you have them. Obviously I would need your company logo, in the proper format etc.

A thorough research and discovery is at the core of any creative concept for any marketing solution.
Understanding the clients expectations of the creative solution, what audience is the creative solution going to attract and learning what each and every client likes and dislikes are the key ingredients to any successful concept. After learning more about you and your business, after the planning and the conclusion of the best strategy for your business. I start my creative process. I start with a clean-sheet approach on any design, whether it's a logo design, brochure design or a responsive website design.

This question is duplicated all but the word "can" so I think they need a better proofing system... LOL... Yeah I have a sense of humor too...

What I love most about my career is watching my clients that I design for succeed. I have numerous clients that rely on me as their go-to designer for 10 plus years. I'd like to think that my design and marketing advice has played a role in their success, why else would they keep coming to me. I've designed everything for these clients, from stationery, brochures, direct mail, trade show displays and material to their website, so their satisfaction is what I love most about my job.

I started in 1994 as a printing press helper, climbing my way to the top of the printing industry and realizing as the years passed that I wanted more. I knew that I wanted a career that was involved with print, while allowing me to pursue my artistic talent, so I decided to go to college for graphic design.

I found myself at Delaware College of Art and Design learning the tools of the trade, color theory, typography, about marketing and advertising. My first job out of college was a Marketing Coordinator position for a horticultural company being in charge of all design for several company brands. Since that time, I've been fortunate to work with successful corporations, agencies, entrepreneurs and talented individuals that have helped hone my skill and knowledge in the marketing and design field.

Basically I am fair, reasonable, dedicated to good design, very knowledgeable and experienced in print and web design. You'd be surprised how many graphic designers submit jobs for printing in RGB. Where experience counts, I am the one that you need on your side.
