Eglinton Arms Hotel

What a lovely Hotel in picturesque setting. Full of charm with staff who were out of this world. Everyone was so helpful, even got to know managers who had bottle of Champagne delivered to our room for my wife's birthday.
Breakfast staff were always happy and singing away which creates a more relaxing atmosphere. Reception staff went out of their way to accommodate us and House keeping staff were tremendous.
We stayed for a few weeks & staff took time out their day talk to us which gives the Hotel a more relaxing and homely feel.
Some rooms are a bit small but have character and everything you need plus very clean. The room sizes are on Web page so you can see exactly what your buying.
Overal probably one of the best Hotel experiences we have had.

This is actually the best hotel in Scotland. Had our wedding here. The staff, the venue etc etc are all amazing. Can't fault the place in anyway at all. Highly recommended

Recently made my first visit to attend a family function. Easy parking, very attentive staff, relaxed and modern interior and the buffet provided was excellent. Will definitely return.

Amazing hotel!! So modern and stylish. Staff are really lovely and accommodating. We done the Murder Mystery evening and 2 night stay for my sister hen weekend, it was a great laugh and the food is superb :) will defo be back!

I have stayed here on numerous occassions. Great boutique hotel, a former coaching inn, it is very popular for weddings and business meetings.

It's public rooms and bedrooms are very tastefully decorated with a Scottish theme throughout with photographs of the village on the walls. You will have a very enjoyable stay as the friendly staff cannot do enough for you. It has two bars and a very good restaurant. More...

Wonderful stay. Staff is absolutely the very best. Stayed for 2 nights(July 14,15) and enjoyed every minute!
The hospitality was far superior to any Best Western Hotel we have stayed with.
The restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes served to your preference or request.

Hi everyone just to say I had my hen weekend here 2 nights for 10 people. I would and have recommended this lovely hotel as it lives up to its standards the rooms were excellent the entertainment was fabulous,the food was top plenty of choices cater for everyone and the staff was so friendly and down to earth and it's so peaceful I couldn't have had a better weekend and picked a better place to stay. Thank you to all the staff who work here we are all definitely coming back thank you again.

A full service hotel in the quiet village of Eglinton on the outskirts of Glasgow.
Easy drive to East Kilbride with a wide variety of shops and services.
The bedrooms were small but adequate and the beds good quality and comfortable.
Good breakfast with traditional Scottish fare.
A dinner menu with a reasonable selection and quality food.
Often there are functions in the evening so it's important to reserve seats in the dining room to avoid undue waiting.
My wife and I stayed there for seven days and would not hesitate to return. More...

The staff are a very good advert for this Hotel and they should be proud of them.
Also the food was excellent and I would not hesitate in recommending this Hotel.

We popped in for a drink on the hottest day of the year. I had my four year old daughter with me so we were politely asked to go round to the lounge at the back of the hotel. The lounge is modern and confortable with a great selection of beers. Service was very good indeed and I would have happily stayed for much longer had we not had to rush back. Very nice place indeed.
