What makes a great website?
A great website is a combination of 4 main factors.
UX - If the user doesn't understand the layout, or is confused, then your conversion rate will be low and bounce rate high.
Design - Your website is one of the most consumer facing representations of your brand - don't skimp on the design. Ever.
Informative - Your new website is the de facto goto place for information about your product / brand / event - everything should be there.
SEO - There is no use making an amazing website, if it can't be found. Search Engine Optimisation should always be taken into consideration.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How much to create a website?
This all depends what you want from it and what functions it is to include. Each case is quoted individually as each website is unique.
Do I need to provide graphics?
It helps, but not necessary as I have access to a vast amount of licensed images / videos / graphics. But with that said, bespoke photos and graphics do go a long way towards personalising your new site.
Where do you live?
I live in London, but am always accessible via email, whatsapp, and gchat - unlike other developers with long waits for a questions, I am always at hand (Just let me sleep a little).
What other costs are there?
You would need to pay for the domain if you don't own one already. This is your web address, and is usually billed monthly - I can help set this up for you if you wish.
