My life mission has been to learn and understand the many ways in which our unconscious mind controls our lives, and just as importantly, what to do about it. This is why I focus on helping my clients to find approaches to change the way their own unconscious mind thinks.

I talk alot, I was very emotional during my visit and kept rambling on about my personal recent experience, whilst Mr. Wilson asked several times if I wanted hypnotism for smoking or what, I wish he would have stopped me and tell me the next move to hypnotized, I must say he gave me more than ample time

What do you love most about your job?
I find it very meaningful and fulfilling to help people resolve issues that are troubling them and sometimes have troubled them for most of their lives. The most common issue that people see me about is heart break, in its many different forms. I recall one of the very first calls I received when I started my private practice. The woman asked, “Is it possible to hypnotize a girl to help her not get so lonely that she keeps calling her abusive former boyfriend that she’s broken up with a million times.” Within a few sessions she became able to move on and eventually attract a healthy relationship into her life instead of another abusive one.
One of the other things that I love about my work is the amazing variety of problems and issues that people ask me to help them with. People called me about all kinds of things including medical issues as well as emotional and psychological issues. The Good Lord has clearly blessed me with a problem-solving brain and it means a lot to me that I am able to use it to help others.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Back in the 1970s I was one of many clients of a hypnotherapist named Charley Porter. I saw him weekly for a number of years because he helped me in so many different ways. Eventually, I discovered that I had a God-given talent for hypnotizing people. In 1981, I opened my first office which was on Kirkwood in Alief. I was successful in helping many people with many different issues during the time that I was in that office. In November 1983, the building caught fire and I was forced to move my office. On February 1st of 1984 I moved into my office on Bissonet Street where have been for nearly nearly 35 years.
What inspired me to become a hypnotherapist was how very much Charley Porter helped me with so many different issues and how I developed a desire to pass that gift of helping on to other people.
Why should our clients choose you?
Many people tell that they have somehow felt led to call me. Since I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation, it gives me an opportunity to get a sense as to whether I think that I might be able to help them and it gives them a chance to see if they are able to connect with me.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As a licensed professional counselor, I see people in person since Hypnosis is far more effective in person rather than by video.
I am fully vaccinated had to protect my clients and patients and make sure to follow all the protocols put in place by the CDC.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy involves helping people make positive changes in their deep unconscious mind.
Many of the most knowledgeable and famous people in the field of psychology have recognized that most of our lives are unconsciously determined.
And so it is clearly recognized that negative beliefs that exist in the unconscious mind are the primary factors that hold people back from having a happier and more fulfilling life.
Hypnotherapy
Although the goals of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy are much the same, helping people make significant positive changes in the deep unconscious mind, Hypnotherapy differs from Psychotherapy in that through Hypnotherapy I am using the process of Hypnosis to speed up the changes that need to be made.
Counseling
Counseling is a process of engaging in problem-solving at a conscious level.
Counseling can easily move into Psychotherapy or Hypnotherapy when the counseling leads to helping people make positive changes in the unconscious mind.
