I’ve been coming here for a few years now. This is always such a lovely and consistent spot for brunch, lunch or dinner. The staff has always been wonderful and knowledgeable about the menu and happily offers suggestions that are spot on. Our server E was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect beverage as well as breakfast. If you’re looking for the perfect quiet local spot for anything from a quick bite to the perfect beverage I would highly recommend coming here. Ate here for the first time and had a wonderful experience. I already can’t wait to come back. I dined in during happy hour and got a half price glass of wine! I also tried a pizza, which was delicious. All ingredients were clearly fresh. My husband got the gnocchi dish and was very happy with it. I didn’t order a charcuterie board but I definitely will next time, I saw others order boards and they looked delicious! I also had a wonderful waitress here who was very knowledgeable about all the wines and had great recommendations. We ordered in Pizza to our office today. We had Stuffed Pizza (cheese, veggie and meat) as well as flat bread pizzas, (BBQ Chicken, Veggie/ house) as well as their house salad. Cozy Italian- a wonderful experience: Bird and E were amazing hosts, end to end a lovely experience - host even encouraged parties to mingle for a friendly eve. We came to Edwardo's Natural Pizza on our final day in IL, having no idea it is apparently the US's first pizza place. Congrats for staying in business this long. They must be doing something right! We kept it simple and ordered a white pizza with ricotta and a Margarita pizza. Yum! Sauce and cheese was fresh and tasty.
