Eduardo was great to work with. He presented me with a few designs and was willing put in the extra time to hone the design until I was happy with it.

Q&As

After the client provides the required details about the project, I start by doing some research about the theme of the design, the client's competitors and other possible style references. Then I proceed to sketch some ideas. Within 3-5 days the client receives the first batch of logo concepts. The client then can provide me with feedback on the designs and I'll keep working on the one that looks more promising until we get to the ideal logo.

The main thing to start a successful logo design process is understanding what type of design the client is expecting. Everybody wants a beautiful logo for their company, but the definition of "beautiful" can vary a lot from person to person. That's why I always ask clients to send me some examples of logos they like, so I can understand their aesthetic preferences and deliver the right kind of design.

Besides that, other essential pieces of information are:
- The brand name (as it is supposed to appear on the logo)
- Slogan, tagline or any other text that should be incorporated in the logo (e.g. “Made in Canada” or “Since 1950”)
- Short description of the business and target audience
- Preferred color palette
