I'm currently doing personal training to address my back pain and muscle imbalances. In the past I tried physical therapy which proved to be of little help (overpriced, little to no actual one on one with the physical therapist, etc). I've been to five sessions so far at this gym with personal trainer Raya and I'm impressed. Pricing is very reasonable and the gym is spacious with lots of different equipment. I love the personalized attention I receive and the emphasis on proper form which makes every workout count. I haven't taken any classes yet but I plan on doing so in the future. More...

I have been training at Edge Performance Training with Daniel Ancheta for nearly five years and I love it! I participate in his morning "Meat Grinders" group sessions. The thing I like the most is each workout is different and always challenges you no matter how fit you may be. You may box a heavy bag, perform burpees, slam a hammer on a tractor tire, push a weight sled, perform box jumps, perform some medieval mace like weighted ball slam side to side and row a 1000 meters.......that was Monday!! You will get a new workout on Wednesday and again on Friday! The other great thing about Edge is Daniel. He continually educates himself on the latest fitness and health trends. 60 Days and 48 lbs. later, I can only say that Daniel Ancheta's system works. I have more energy, my (new) clothes fit better, and the whole time I have never felt that I was "on a diet". The system includes changing eating habits along with rigorous training in a group setting. Of course, we all know that works, right? But, taking part in a program like the one at Edge, puts that knowledge into action...The knowledge and education provided by Daniel along with the little nudge you get from the rest of the group while working out, is just what many of us need to push the "theory" to reality.
