I have used numerous florists across the country for a whole bunch of yrs -- some pretty good n others not so much. This includes several there in the VA Beach area. For me, Eclectic is the GOLD STANDARD by which not only every florist, but all public service providers, should be measured. I ditto every 5-star review before mine here! Maria's most professional but delightfully personable approach is waaay above the norm; to say she goes the xtra mile is simply an understatement! She even obtained from outside contacts items that she doesn't usually have in her shop in order to put together a very lovely, extra special and bit out of the ordinary arrangement for my 104 yr old Mom -- just amazing! Maria is so great! She really listened to what I wanted and was so flexible when I changed my mind. They delivered the flowers to me on time and without a problem. I only ordered 1 bouquet, 4 boutineers, and 3 corsages, but she treated me and my wedding as if I ordered the whole store. I just want to take a minute out of my time to talk about how amazing Maria, the owner of Eclectic Design, is. We had placed an order with an online company who could not fulfill our order due to bad weather. As luck would have it, they didn't inform of us of the predicament either and we had to find out ourselves once the delivery time had passed.

I searched online for floral designers in Town Center and happened upon Eclectic. As I told Maria about our issue, she got very few details from me and within 15 minutes put together a STUNNING arrangement that floored our birthday girl. Maria and her crew were so easy to work with. I don't know much about flowers, but I knew I wanted lilies in honor of my mom. Eclectic Design Florist did an exceptional job providing flowers for my big day! Maria was super friendly and easy to work with when it came to designing the perfect bouquet for myself and my bridesmaids! She was very informative with what flowers would work best with my color theme while also staying within my budget! She never tried to upsell me on more expensive flowers and was very quick to let me know which flowers were not in season and which would be harder to get. This place is great! I was walking around one day waiting for my girlfriend to get off work near by so we could go to dinner and happened to see this place. Eclectic design floral is AMAZING! I did not know exactly what I wanted when I met with Maria, but she helped me to find my vision, and when the flowers arrived I was THRILLED! The colors (hot pink and orange) were absolutely beautiful, and the flowers chosen went together so well. She did all of the bouquets, pew bows, centerpieces, etc. and had very reasonable prices with stunning results. We were misinformed about the time we could start setting up at our reception venue two days before our wedding, and called Maria in a panic. She was located at 1065 Laskin Road when we used her. She has now moved into a bigger shop in Towne Center. Maria was wonderful. I wanted Carnations as our flowers because I love them. I think roses are over-rated and over priced! She did all the bouquets, the boutonnieres and the flowers for the alter. They were all beautiful and matched the colors of the wedding. My Sister-in-law had used Maria and was very satisfied with her. (they had a huge amount of flowers!)
