Emma is just exceptional. I was incredibly nervous about having my headshots taken, but Emma went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and confident. Emma's shots are so unique and individual, which I'm sure is down to the fact that she really takes time to get to know you and share some of her own stories. This was my first headshot shoot and Emma made it so easy for me by directing me really clearly on exactly what to do. I think my final edits really reflect something of my personality, which I don't think would have been possible if Emma hadn't taken time to understand me. Emma is caring and generous, and she takes exciting and captivating shots. I could not recommend Emma enough! I was particularly nervous about getting new headshots as it had been years since I had any taken. But I had nothing to worry about as Emma made me feel completely at ease and gave me some real confidence during my session. I had my headshots taken previously with 3 different photographers, but never felt completely satisfied or happy with the final images. Emma is hands down the best headshot photographer that I have had the pleasure to work with. It took me a month to decide on my final images because they were all so different and unique. My favourite thing about Emma’s work is her use of natural lighting, her images look really fresh, personal and raw, which I feel is what I feel casting directors want to see. I felt really comfortable during the shoot. Emma is so down to earth and lovely to work with. From the get go she made it clear that there was no rush and I had all the time I needed to get comfortable with the camera, change outfits, do touch ups, which was really important and what I needed to get the shots I wanted. We had a nice chat over a cuppa and biscuits about castings and what I wanted to get out of the shoot so we were both on the same page. I had been putting off getting headshots done for over a year before Emma was recommended to me through a friend as being 'extremely friendly and able to put you at ease. ' As my first headshots I found the lead up to the experience daunting and intimidating, however I was put at ease as soon as I came to the studio door. Emma was a very understanding and lovely person to work with and her constant enthusiasm made me feel genuinely excited to see the results from the day. Not only is she an exceptional pro when it comes to the actual quality of the images, the session itself is really fun, and I felt completely at ease. She is incredibly warm and friendly and will make sure you're both on the same page about what you want before you get started. Could not be happier with every aspect of the shoot and the shots. Emma is friendly, professional and knows her craft. Her dog, Marley, is just adorable.
I had an idea of what shots I wanted as well as a ridiculous amount of clothing options, we talked them through and got the best of the bunch. She constantly reviewed the shots with me and explains what does and doesn't make a great headshot.
Selecting the 5 I wanted to use was a very difficult process because there are just so many excellent shots to choose.

I can honestly say this was the best headshot 'journey' I've had from beginning to end! On arriving Emma made me feel so at ease and relaxed and this continued through the session. There was never any pressure for time and we managed to have lots of giggles along the way too. I received my shots back very quickly and my chosen, edited ones too. The feedback I have received on them is that they are the best I've had so far, and I've had quite a few over the years!!I have had many compliments on them too. Truly professional experience.

Emma did my first ever headshots (and indeed my most recent). I was 16 at the time, so I went as a nervous young man venturing into the industry for the first time. I was taken back at how relaxed she makes you while remaining proffesional an friendly. Her headshots are particularly great because Emma likes to take photos of genuine moments, no posey bullshit - just shots of genuine smiles and moments between you.
