EB Education Services have been fantastic with supplying the best quality tutors. I have five tutors with them now, for maths, English, science, Spanish and drama. All of them are qualified teachers, with experience of the different exam boards and three of them are also examiners. It makes a huge difference to the delivery of the tuition as I have had tutors before who have been students, or worked in an industry where their subject was used a lot, and the quality of teaching was nowhere near what you get from teachers, as they don’t know the specifications properly nor what is required in the exams. Chris worked with our son Harry through most of year 11 after we realised Harry needed help with his GCSE maths. He worked closely with Harry to give him a better understanding of the typical GCSE questions, by the second term Harry had moved from foundation maths to higher maths as he grew with confidence. Hi, Last year I was searching for a Science tutor to work with my daughter to attain her GSCE. I was firstly impressed speaking to Chris the owner. He took great care to understand our needs and paired my daughter up with an excellent, inspirational tutor - Rosie. He also kept in touch throughout to make certain we were making good progress. Rosie is full of enthusiasm and has a wealth of knowledge. She is very close to the new exam system/syllabus. My daughter initially wasn’t achieving a pass in her exams in Science and as a result of Rosie’s sessions along with my daughters hard work she came out with a grade 7 which is an A! She was over the moon and we couldn’t ask for more. We have now continued with EB Education and Rosie for my youngest daughter in year 9. EB services have provided the best services for my son. It has been a pleasure working with Chris, and with his support and mentoring my son was able to succeed in his GCSEs. I had Karen as a biology tutor about 6 months before my A-levels. Before I had Karen I was working at about a grade B/C and with Karen’s help I managed to get an A* in my final exam. Karen was an amazing tutor and she not only helped me academically but also really helped me become more confident and really enjoy biology more. My little brother also had a tutor, Rana, from EB education services for his SATS and he also improved academically and got very good passes in his SATS. We would just look like to say a huge thank you to Chris and his company for all his assistance in ensuring that our son achieved an excellent Grade in his Maths GCSE. We initially approached Chris as we felt that our son needed a boost with his Maths due to the new numerical grading standards. We were provided with his contact details via a friend who has also used his services and highly recommended the company. My son found that Chris was excellent in explaining the various subject matters, and was very patient when doing so. Just wanted to say how grateful I am to Chris for teaching sneha: physics, biology and chemistry. Sneha did very well and came out with an A overall in addition science in her GSCE because of Chris's support and teaching. Chris is always enthusiastic about the subject was able to provide resources when needed. He explained the concept very well and was able to explain everything. I couldn't recommend Karren enough, she is the best tutor ever, very patient helpful understanding and so loveable. Karen tutored my daughter when she was preparing for her 11+ exams. She helped my daughter with her Maths, English and reasoning tests. Her style of teaching was superb! She was very patient with my daughter and she made sure my daughter understood whatever topic she was teaching her before she went on to another. Karen built a good relationship with my daughter as well as myself. She always provided me with feedback on my daughter's progress and she also identified areas that she needed to improve on (and they worked on them together). My daughter loved her and always looked forward to her next lesson. My daughter passed all her five grammar school exams and she is now left with the option of choosing one out of many. I cannot praise EB Education and Karen in particular highly enough. My son was unable to make sense of Science and felt unable to cope and completely out of touch in school lessons. EB Education turned this around for him by superb teaching to the point that he felt confident about the GCSEs. Karen & Chris really understand children and they are able to connect with them. I can't rate Chris and his team highly enough. We've used Chris for over 2 years, even before EB existed. We've had physics, chemistry and maths tutors for our son and each tutor has been fantastic. Karen has recently been tutoring my Son for the last year of his A2 Biology course.
She has been an extremely friendly, approachable, punctual, hardworking tutor!
I feel it is important to have a connection between tutor and student to achieve the best results and Karen certainly managed that! James thought she was “a brilliant tutor!”
He enjoyed his two hours lesson with her and said “he learnt so much and the time just flew by!”
Karen is an excellent tutor; professional, knowledgeable, energetic, down to earth, patient…. and goes above and beyond for her students.
She pre-plans her lessons to meet the individual needs of each student and makes them interesting and fun.
