Came here for a naming ceremony for my granddaughter. Beautiful homely surroundings and delicious afternoon tea served on beautiful china in the conservatory. Service was excellent, friendly but discreet. Afterwards we played croquet and enjoyed the garden. Thank you Emma for a wonderful, memorable afternoon. More...

First time I write a review ever. From Spain, so sorry for my English. I need to say before, what I do for living. I am an Airline pilot; mayor airline for over 21 years. I spend half my month in 4 and 5 stars hotels all over the World. Now, out of pure luck I ended up in this beautiful place for one night; This is not NYC or Paris or Tokyo or you name it, is a little town 2h away from London. The layout of the place, the charming atmosphere, the beautiful decoration, the good taste on everything...is almost forgotten because of the wonderful way you will be treated by the two people running the place. DO NOT I say again, DO NOT dare to go anywhere for diner and stay....It is the one time I felt more at home in 21 years going to hotels all over; this girls put everywhere I went, in shame, and I live in Dubai nowadays...I never looked at the bill...I did not care; whatever it was was not enough to pay the hospitality away from home. If you happen to be anywhere within 3 hours from this place by car; including Manchester or London, and you don´t come here to spend some time, you will be missing one of your life time experiences...Gracias de verdad; was unforgettable.
