Without needing to be talented or artistic, expressing feelings through line, colour, texture, shape and form allows us to reflect and release from certain events and experiences. Including creativity with counselling can be beneficial for the interpretation of underlying feelings, while also acting as an expressive outlet for your emotions. Typically, I will help you to explore your feelings in a creative sketchbook, using both art and creative writing to express yourself. Then, I will help you to unpick the meaning behind your creations.
Creativity acts as a modality for self-understanding, behavioural change and personal growth and is a valuable skill which can aid you in understanding yourself at a deeper level. As with dream interpretation, images can be very symbolic. Like a window into the subconscious, the arts can often act as a bridge, revealing knowledge back to us about ourselves that we’re not always aware of.

Reiki Healing Originating in 19th century Japan, Reiki serves as a complementary or alternative method of healing. Reiki is the non-physical transference of healing energy whereby the therapist aims to tap into the clients' subconscious through the manipulation of the clients energy chakras. It is considered an ancient practice, that once forgotten is now being re-established within Holistic therapies as an effective method of healing on a deeper and more spiritual level. The Reiki healing session can also include crystals, aromatherapy, and features both discussed and written feedback on a chakra chart as well as advice on maintaining energetic health through lifestyle and nutrition.

Meditation Tutoring Meditation teaches us to be in the present moment, promoting wellbeing , patience and relaxation but sometimes it can be hard to find the focus! With the guidance of a practitioner, the client can be assisted with focus, breathing techniques and guided visuals to reach inner peace with great heights of relaxation. Set in a beautiful setting with astral meditation light projections and moroccan candlelight, each session explores a new technique of meditation from all over the world and tracks your progress from week to week. Other than the perfect way to alleviate the stress of everyday life, this can be an ideal way to open or close a therapy session or begin a new chapter of your life with consistent heights of peaceful Zen mentality.
