Honestly such a cute date night place. Fun and relaxed. The owner and staff are all so friendly and willing to show you how to use all the different supplies to create whatever you've chosen to create. Wish I'd known about them sooner!

This studio is amazing!!! I went with a couple of friends to paint some cool ceramics and it was so exiting seeing how awesome they look after the super sweet Asima fired them. They looks so shiny and perfect  such a great time to spend with family and friends. Also the beautiful and super talented Aisha and Asima give classes there, so much fun. GO HERE! I walked in for the first time and I was immediately greeted my Asima, she was quick to cater to my needs, and super friendly and helpful. The inside of the studio/store is very clean with many different tables available, so whether you come with a small group, or just yourself there is space. The paints are set up in a choose what you need style, which is nice compared to other pottery places, where you have to ask them to get the colors for you. I see people of all ages in here and have already returned after my first visit. They will also contact you when your piece is ready which is nice! If you are around here definitely stop in, they even have some sale pieces so make sure to ask! More...

We just had my daughter's birthday party here and couldn't be happier. The girls had fun picking from the wide array of pottery pieces, and then they spent almost two hours glazing them. I loved the relaxed atmosphere of Earthfire Arts. The owner could not have been more kind or more easy to work with as we scheduled our party, and she has created a very peaceful space for kids and adults alike to spend time painting pottery. Earthfire Arts Studio is truly a special place in the Inner Sunset. I highly recommend contacting the studio if you're thinking about throwing a birthday party or fun private event. The owner Asima and her staff were incredibly accommodating to me and my group of friends. I discovered Asima's background is in painting, and that she offers private, canvas painting events beyond the typical paint-your-own pottery sessions. She agreed to host a "Bob Ross"-themed birthday party event for us on a Saturday evening for roughly 20 guests. She masterfully (and patiently) lead the group on a 2-3 hour landscape painting tutorial, with our skills ranging from novice to professional artist. I especially appreciated Asima's professionalism. She regularly communicated with me leading up to the event; she even created the painting based on a meaningful photograph we provided her in advance of the party. The room, paints/brushes, aprons and easels were completely set-up when we arrived, and she also allowed us to bring our own snacks and beverages which kept us happy while painting. Oh, to be a kid again! My best friend and I were drawn in by the nostalgia of pottery painting birthday parties of yore, and stayed, and will return, for Thursday night "adult night. " They're open til 10, and even offer wine glasses so you can BYOB in style. Asima was kind and helpful, and I was so impressed with their range of pieces, colors, and accessories like stencils.
