I have been to EAD on several occasions now and by far it is the best therapy and muscular treatment I have had!! Lewis is passionate about his work and has made it very easy to keep coming back for more sessions. A few years ago, I had quite a sever spinal injury which significantly damaged the surrounding muscles as well which still gave me aches and pains 2 years late. After the first session with Lewis, it was almost like a instant relief that now doesn’t effect me in my training and my day to day life!! I would recommend EAD_Academy to anyone and everyone. Great guy, great service!! More...

Sports massage is a manual therapy treatment which works deep into the tissues, realigning the muscle fibres and connective tissue, elongating muscles and flushing away toxins.

Therapeutic massage works in a similar way to sports massage whoever, it is a lot less harsh and has more of a focus on relaxation.

There are many benefits including both psychological and physical aspects of wellbeing and performance.
 Reduced muscle tension
 Improved circulation
 Increased sense of wellbeing and positive mental health
 Recovery of soft tissues
 Reduced stress and relaxation

DRY
Dry/vacuum cupping aims to increase blood circulation and relieve tension in specific areas where the cups are placed, in addition to this, the overall blood flow and will also increase. Negative pressure is created in the cups sucking the skin into them, the skins is separated from the underlying tissues allowing for increased blood flow.

 Pain reduction

FIRE
Fire cupping works in a similar way to vacuum cupping, however the negative pressure is created by the fire removing the oxygen in the cup. Additional benefits include a greater sense of relaxation, increased toxin removal and improved wellbeing.

Strength and conditioning has 2 main focuses, improving movement quality to enhance performance and help with injury prevention. This can be in any given sport focusing on developing speed, power, strength or change of direction etc. This form of training is not solely focused on athletes; it can be applied to anyone!
It is more than just lifting weights, it involves so much more encompassing a variety of tools to develop movement, health and physical performance.
Benefits include:
 Improved athletic performance
 Injury prevention
 Enhanced general health
 Increased muscle mass and metabolism
 Faster recovery after injury

The benefits of a perfect lifting technique are endless. Poor technique leads to increased chance of injury, incorrect movement patterns and a general inhibition for progression. The Biomechanical analysis of lifting entails 1 to 1 support with all lifting efforts, including video annotated feedback.

REHABILITAION
Rehabilitation is commonly known as the restoration of optimal form and function. Rehabilitation of sporting and every day injuries are progressively managed in an aim of returning pre-injury muscle/joint function, starting light with acutely focused movements, to larger demanding actions.

PREVENTION
Injury prevention is focused around strengthening muscles and joints to reduce the chance of injuries occurring. For example, one of the most common injuries seen in football involves the hamstring, therefore improving the flexibility and strength of the hamstring complex would be very beneficial for these athletes.

Kinesiology taping supports injured muscles and/or joints to help aid recovery, improve blood circulation and prevent cramps/spasms.

Fitness programming helps you stay on track and reach your goals with a bespoke training plan including exercises, repetitions, sets and aims for each exercise.
