Where do I begin. I started the journey to our wedding date hoping to take some of the stress of my bride. In the end I received so much more. Michelle is the consummate professional. Working with Michelle to plan my wedding was the best choice I made while planning. I was so confused at first because I didn't know where to start or how to go about anything, and Michelle made this process so much easier! She helped me organize my thoughts and listened to all my concerns and needs. And if I stressed out about something she would help clarify or help fix the situation as soon as she could, and she is great with communication even when I would send her 5 separate emails sometimes back to back at once. She has many good contacts with vendors which I liked because I didn't know much about what vendors were good or not before. She helped me organize the day of my wedding perfectly and made sure everything went smoothly. The event design turned out to be stunning thanks to the help of Michelle and her amazing coordination. I had many thoughts and ideas about design and Michelle helped me make my design ideas a reality. Also, this event planner is very reasonably priced for the services you get and Michelle will help you find the package that best suits your needs. My husband and I were so impressed with Michelle and her DYV team. In the weeks leading up to the wedding I knew there was no need to stress because Michelle was on top of every detail. She always found time to answer my questions and give valuable feedback/input. You want to choose a planner that has connections with multiple vendors and is familiar with local businesses and ceremony/reception sites. We were responsible for outsourcing all of our reception vendors so having her team was a HUGE help. As the mother of the bride, it made the day go so much more smoothly when people were running to Michelle with their questions instead of me. Our daughter and her fiancé were thrilled with how Michelle and her team turned their vision into a dream come true. Michelle had her work cut out for her since this was a destination wedding and our daughter and her fiancé lived in another state hours away. Our daughter told me that she thought everything about the night was PERFECT, and the groom said it was the very best day of his entire life!! Michelle was extremely calm the entire day, and both the photographer and the videographer told us this was the most beautiful wedding they had ever experienced. Aside from saying yes to the man (and the dress!), hiring Michelle/Dream Your Vision was the best decision of the whole wedding! Michelle was an absolute delight to work with, and she took care of details I never even would have thought of. She's super-organized, very thoughtful, and on top of that, she seemed genuinely excited for us; it's clear that she enjoys her work, which always makes things that much nicer. We had a "complicated" venue—a historic property with a lot of rules. When it looked like it might rain on our outdoor wedding, Michelle devised *three* different backup plans to make sure that no matter the weather, we could still have the wedding we had envisioned. A favorite and exemplary moment happened in Michelle’s car on the short ride from our hotel to the venue. One of Michelle's assistants was driving my father and I to our entrance. I was so nervous and didn't know what to do with myself. I asked if by chance there was a mint in the car, and Michelle's assistant said, "Check the door pocket." Sure enough, there was a tin of mints in there! It's the little things, right? Michelle takes care of every last detail, right down to packing takeaway containers of the food we were too busy to eat during the reception for us to gratefully devour after it was all over. Even though it may sound trite, our wedding would not have been the same without Michelle! She went over and above her “job” to help us identify and implement the spirit of what we envisioned for our wedding. Because we were planning the event from out of state, we needed help with all kind of vendors. She gave us options, website/contact information, and price estimates, then let us make a final decision. Once decided, she made all the contacts and communicated our preferences. She was always pleasant, upbeat, and excited for us and our vision. Where she really excelled was the day of the wedding, which was at our new home. She and her team arrived early, cleared furniture, and eventually had to make the decision if weather would allow us to have it outside as planned. She made the right call, it was gorgeous, but she was fully prepared to give us the same experience if we had to move inside. Her team then transformed the place from wedding to reception while the guests had no idea of the effort required to make it appear so seamless. Then when it was over her team once again transformed it back into our living space. She seemed to manage all the stress of that production effortlessly, while all we needed to do was enjoy the ceremony, reception, and dance. My husband and I had an unusual situation. We planned a wedding over a year and a half while moving across the country and me looking for a new job. It was difficult to handle even for a very organized person. After I had a meltdown, my husband contacted Michelle at Dream Your Vision Event Planning to assist us with arranging a wedding in another state (as if what we were doing wasn't stressful enough). Michelle met with us many months in advance according to our schedule. She was very professional and expressed a genuine interest in our business and wedding, which was surprisingly challenging to find. She was very detail oriented and able to help me with things I did not even know to think about.

DYV has a number of affordable packages with varying degrees of her involvement. A month before the wedding, Michelle began communicating with all vendors, wrapping up final plans, and even agreed to receive and bring our flowers a few days before the wedding. She did an excellent job organizing the rehearsal and putting me at ease. Not to mention an amazingly detailed timeline for all involved parties. She and her staff also received decorations and decorated for the ceremony and reception. I only expected it to look "kind of" like my discription and pictures. Michelle and her staff when above and beyond making it absolutely beautiful! One of my other vendors remarked on how grateful they were to work with her as she helped him feel "less stressed out." Family and friends loved her!

Hiring DVY was definitely the best decision I made for the wedding. My only regret is that I should have selected a more involved package that would have made my life less stressful. You can absolutely trust DVY Event Planning to make your wedding beautiful and organized! More...

Hiring Michelle was one of the best decisions I made in regards to my wedding. Michelle was amazing. Her meticulous planning, organization, advice, creativity, great attitude, and help with our wedding made an extremely special day magical for us.
