I'm a book author expanding my online platform and needed a couple different head shots for various sites where I'm marketing my writing. Duron took plenty of time (& a whole lot of shots) and I came away with a fabulous "I'm a business man" photo and also a "who is this mysterious, fascinating author?" shot - that is to say a more dramatic look. Been going to Duron's studio for years. Started with a simple passport photo. Had no idea the difference between 'taking a pic' and a photograph in a proper studio. Duron has a way with evoking art from his photography. Really enjoy his work as well as his professionalism. Had the chance to put together a composite card and a portfolio for modelling purposes. Duron really does have an eye for both talent and for fashion! He's not cheap, but well worth the investment. Very thorough, and he cares about the finished product! Very artistic! I tried to make a photo at Walgreens and at Chicago photo studio on Belmont Ave for the Dv Lottery application, they could not make exactly what I wanted, then I found this place and gave them a call, made an appointment and went there, they were awesome, smiling and helpful. He was my wedding photographer.  I looked him up online and he seemed pretty solid with years of experience and tons of good reviews on him.  He is a fun, easy going, and a friendly guy who has a genuine passion in photography.  So happy with how the photos turned out - which I appreciate because that's the only thing you have left after the wedding - memories and pictures. Duron shot our wedding 2 weeks ago and he along with his assistant, Lana were exceptional. Duron was a pleasure from the day i met him. He was so easy to work with, he went above and beyond day of the wedding. Even my husband, who was worried he would have a tough time taking pictures all day said Duron put him at complete ease. They did a small but important job for me: restoring a photo that I had ruined as a child. I had scribbled all over my own baby picture with an ink pen: ruining the teeth and the flowers on my dress, and there were no negatives or other copies of this pic in existence. They scanned the image and used the original to determine what it should look like, created a new print, and gave me the digital file. They did a wonderful job. My mother never forgave me for ruining my only baby picture, and I actually cried a little because she isn't here now to show her. More...

I have known Duron for over 20 years-as he photographed my Bat Mitzvah. Duron and Monica both did an absolutely incredible job with our wedding pictures. We truly do believe we had the best photographer that we could have ever had. Our pictures are magazine quality. Duron is an artist and is incredibly talented! I brought my recently adopted 3lb dog in for pet photography (i'm not a fan of black and white shots that the other studios do) and he was incredibly patient (working with a small dog) and was able to produce phenomenal shots of myself and my baby. He took about 200 pictures which I came the next day to select from. Capturing images of a little dog is very difficult but Duron is a seasoned pro.His prices are very fair (I'm a poor law student) for a professional photographer but the reason I selected him was for his expertise. He experience is demonstrated by the quality of his work. He is simply a perfectionist and there are thousands of pictures that prove that. Duron of Duron Studios in Skokie Illinois is not only an outstanding photographer, but he is an artist.  We hired Duron to photograph the wedding of my son and his beautiful new bride and everyone in the wedding party was absolutely delighted with the results. Duron and his assistant where there at all the critical moments from the bride getting ready, to capturing those moments of joy from the excitement of the bridal party to the tear in my son's eye when he saw his bride enter the church. One of the photographers was always there. Never in the way, but always looking for those special moments.Duron took time to make sure we got all the family grouping pictures we wanted and then at the reception took great care looking for all those special moments from the first dance to the bride putting on her cowboy boots for a little extra fun and then all the guests shots that are dear to us.When you find someone like Duron that has a passion for his work and delivers outstanding results and service you just have to compliment him and let others know about his services.
