Since moving in with my dad and his two dogs, my Samoyed really struggled to settle. She became increasingly destructive and her separation anxiety worsened significantly. At one point I was genuinely concerned that I'd have to give her up as I couldn't give her what she needed.

Thanks to two training sessions with Jamie, I feel so much more confident in my training and parenting abilities. Lux has already made huge strides with her on and off lead training; plus she hasn't destroyed anything or had an accident for a month.

Jamie suggested a raw diet as Lux experienced highs and lows in her energy levels over the day. Ever since I've taken his advice and started her on Meat Love, she's like a completely different dog. She's so calm and no longer seems constantly restless. In fact, the change has been so obvious, my dad has started his two dogs on the same diet. And they absolutely love it! These two were extremely picky beforehand so that should tell you the quality of the food.

I honestly could not recommend Durham Dog Care enough, in fact I've already passed the shops address to a number of dog owners who were impressed by my experience! Thank you so much :) More...

Can not recommend this place enough since feeding my dog with the raw food recommended his skin and ears have healed beyond belief within 1 week his ears are no longer red itchy or gunky his itchy bald spots have cleared up and started to grow fur back and he no longer bites or licks his paws so they no longer swollen or sore and the service is very friendly and welcoming and the prices are brilliant can't thank this place and staff enough

My mam and dad introduced me to Durham Dog Care after highly recomending them for their raw food diet they give to their own dog. Jen recomended a food for me which fit my budget as well as my dog. I've watched Jen and Jamie (Durham Dog Care) expand and grow for the past couple of years. I initially contacted them for advice on Raw Feeding our soon to be new family member, Benito, the Border Terrier �. He's now been Raw fed since 8wks of age. We also carried out a titre test through Durham Dog Care recently, with amazing results � No question is ever too silly, they are both on hand to offer advice and support in all manor of things. Raw food; Natural Dog Treats; Suppliments; Toys; Chews; Sprays and Shampoos. Whatever your dogs requirement, all natural and organic and exceptionally good for your pooch, they'll probably stock and are more than willing to investigate anything new ���

I found Durham dog care by chance. Having had a few bad experiences with max before, I knew I needed to do something but I began to realise I didn't know what. After booking my first appointment with Jamie. I was given practical exercises to try and within half an hour of initially trying them, max was already responding. At first it seems difficult but eventually the training just becomes another part of the walk. Part of the routine.

I had no skills before, to the point where max wouldn't respond because he probably felt he had to take charge. but now I'm so much more confident with what I've learnt, max knows he can rely on me and I can deal with situations

If your wondering if Jamie is the way to go. I'd say yes. Absolutely. He's there at every step. I dread to think what the past 3 months would have been like had I not sent that email. More...

We had very reactive German Shepherd with other dogs. I contacted Jamie for help with this & could not recommend him highly enough he came out to meet Ivie & work out a plan to help us help her. After showing us some techniques & teaching us how to put them into practice we have worked hard together over a few weeks to bring that reactivity right down to a small distance. I’m sure with repeated practice we will be able to eliminate that to nothing. I have been shopping here for 8 months now I found this shop purely by luck and have to say I'm pleased I did as there's no where near to me that stocks the complete raw diet I feed to my French bull dog but not only that they stock everything you would ever require for your pet ranging from food to treats to herbal remedies and much much more and prices are fantastic compared to places I've seen on line. .... Jenifer the owner has always helped with her knowledge and guidence when it's come to my dogs diet and not only that any problems I have had with my Frenchie �� I simply wouldn't shop anywhere else now I often get stopped while out walking Mylo, people asking wow what food do you feed your dog he is so lean and his coat is so shiny definitely worth a visit if you have never shopped here I drive 30 mins and is worth the drive � More...

My rescue dog had very bad separation anxiety and you could hear her from down the street crying and barking as soon as i left and it was very distressing for herself, Jamie came out and took the time to assess her wrote a plan for her and done a few practise runs with us, gave us tips and told us how to go about it. Thanks to Jamies recommendation of Nutriment dog food and his behavioural expertise we have seen a massive improvement in all aspects of Poppy’s life, Her coat is thicker and shinier, she no longer wet’s the bed, she is less aggressive around other dogs and is generally calmer around the house. Unbelievable for a spaniel we know! Thanks to the food changes we have also seen improvements in her digestive movements as well as not begging for food like she did when on dry food. Jamie also introduced us to antler chews and Poppy loves them! We are extremely grateful to Jamie, Jen (and Banti) for all their help in bringing a mad little spaniel back to earth and would recommend their services to anyone and everyone. Money well spent. Started working with Jamie to help us with a rescue dog who has a long standing poo eating problem! Have to say things are going very well and have vastly improved. Along the way our other rescue dog has joined in with the training (bonus!) and we have also swapped from complete to nutriment raw dog food with Jamie's help. I've always wanted to feed them raw but felt confused and unsure of how to swap. Nutriment is all done for you - easy - defrost, weigh and off you go.
