I will like to use this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Tamana Aziz & Nazila Shirzay at the Duncan Lewis Solicitors, Harrow branch. My immigration status was so awkward and clumsy that a legal battle to regularise me could probably end in a dead-end. But, this pair, team T & N, as I fondly call them were amazing and determined to fight for my rights so I could be settled with my partner and child in the UK.The complexity of my case even left me personally with little faith and hope, but Tamana was so confident that she inspired my faith. I had been in the UK for over 11years illegaly, without a legit document, their resilience and attitude towards my plights was highly commendable. Honestly couldn't thank Natasha Khakhar enough and I also don't think she realises how good she really is After such a stressful, emotional and expensive 2 1/2 years fighting a access case of my ex wanting more access to our children and the children not wanting it. Actually my review is for my solicitor Mr Bicaku who recently transferred from another law firm Lupins. My 5-star rating only represents my view for Mr Bicaku not Duncan Lewis. Today my partner has received his 2.5 year VISA and we are overjoyed! We were informed by our solicitor that our case only had a borderline winning chance, however, our solicitor Mr Bicaku had been very helpful, kind, polite, patient and friendly during all these months in helping us to prepare all the documentation required for our application. He had been very prompt replying my emails and enquiries. We won our immigration appeal! Our lawyers prepared extensive documentation to prove we met the financial requirement and took detailed witness statements. Our case was originally put on the float list by the court but my lawyer Tamana successfully argued that due to my anxiety disorder the case should be heard the same day - she arrived one hour early prior to the start of the court session to negotiate this. My husband has a wedding to attend at the start of December and we were worried he wouldn't be able to attend because the hearing might be delayed. Just three weeks after the appeal hearing my husband's passport and BRP has been returned. I found the disbursement fees to be very fair as I was only charged £60 for my lawyer to travel from London to Birmingham for the appeal hearing. Tamana and Krutika were both very honest and transparent about the appeal process both with regards to the time it would take and the likelihood of winning. In my case, they informed me I had a very high chance of which they could have easily been more tentative about. I will definitely use their services again for my next immigration application. I was represented by Neil Sergeant from the Motoring Legal Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors last year for a number of motoring offences . I had crashed a vehicle and left the scene of the accident then lied to police about being involved . I was charged with leaving the scene of an accident , obstructing a police officer and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs . In Court I was found not guilty of driving whilst unfit , and for the other charges received only 7 points and a fine .
