We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Duck Lodge B&B. Keith was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, checking that everything was ok and if we needed anything. The lodge is absolutely beautiful and everything is such a high standard it looked brand new! All the mod cons meaning we could watch Netflix and catch up on tv programmes too. Perfect for a relaxing night away. Very clean and warm, comfy bed and had all the amenities you could want/need. We managed to use the hot tub for a little time which was lovely too. It is a real gem and we will definitely be back and be recommending to everyone we know. Thank you so much xx More...

We absolutely loved our stay at Duck Lodge. Totally magical and very romantic. Having a hot tub to ourselves was wonderful, and we were lucky enough to have the beautiful view of snow everywhere. The lodge itself was exceptionally clean, and everything in it was of quality. This really added to the magic of the place. Keith is a superb host, so accommodating and the breakfast was great too. Have already been recommending this place to friends and we cannot wait to return! More...

What a fantastic little bed and breakfast lodge, we stayed here for our 4th wedding anniversary for 3 nights & can honestly say have never stayed anywhere like this before. Nestled in the grounds of the owners home was very private and self contained accommodation. The cabin is so cosy & well equipped, tea & coffee making facilities inc a Nespresso machine, fresh milk, mini fridge with honesty tin, microwave, Sky TV with access to all channels, radio, iPad, information book, toiletries including molton brown, chocolates, fruit....the list is endless and is just perfect. The garden at night looks stunning with hundreds of twinkling lights. The is a hot tub at the top of the garden was fantastic we used it each day and was so nice to relax and look at the view in the distance. The host went of his way to make me & my husband so feel welcome telling us lots of places to visit and lots of eateries in the local area and transport links. Breakfast was pre ordered at a time to suit from a tick list but so much choice too and Keith even gave me and my husband a glass of bubbles on the morning of our anniversary which was a fantastic little touch. All in all a fantastic little place that we will be returning to and will recommend to all my friends and family. More...

We stayed in this beautiful lodge for two nights and despite it being November, it was super cosy and inviting. It had such a nice feel to it from the moment we arrived, especially the beautiful garden lights which looked gorgeous. The lodge itself exceeded all of our expectations with the decor, the cleanliness, and the little details which we felt made all the difference to our stay. Our hosts were amazing and incredibly welcoming from start to finish. We felt that everything has been cared for with great detail and this is a true reflection on the lovely owners of this gorgeous place to stay. Absolutely perfect for couples and family’s- we loved our stay and would recommend to all of our friends and family. Thank you Keith and John. More...

We absolutely loved this lodge. Nothing has been spared. My daughter booked this as a surprise for my birthday and we were both delighted with the luxurious surroundings and were truly spoilt by Keith the owner. The breakfast was scrumptious and the accommodation first class. We loved the hot tub especially after our long walks over the beautiful South Downs. We also indulged in the well stocked bar and enjoyed a Gin and Tonic in the tub. Would highly recommend Duck Lodge it was fantastic. Oh, and a great pub with an extensive menu just five minutes walk away ♡♡♡ More...

The welcome by Keith the owner is warm and friendly and he is a lovely host. The lodge is excellently equipped with modern appliances such as tea&coffee making facilities Sky TV Bose music system WIFI to mention a few. The double bed and Fifa bed are extremely comfortable and of good quality. It would be safe to say that no expense has been sparred on the quality of the furnishings. All top quality. I'm having trouble to find a fault to be honest not that I'm looking. Just outside your lodge you have a private patio to enjoy breakfast etc. Forgot too mention your own fridge with soft drinks fresh milk wine beer etc and last but not least a fabulous hot tub if you wish to use it. I would have no problem recommending this place to family and friends. A little gem on the South Downs Way. Thank you Keith. More...
