Our office has tried a wide variety of food around Grand Rapids for a couple of years, probably around ten. Du Jour Catering is by far the BEST! We would highly highly recommend using this company. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Our office not easy to please. Requiring both healthy and delicious. Chef Evon knocks it out of the park every time. We've worked with Yvon multiple times, and every event has been a great success. From a full sit-down dinner for a large group to a casual wine and cheese event, Yvon has provided us with amazing food and terrific service. She has great ideas and is collaborative in helping us plan menus, she's created special touches like a special cake for an anniversary party, and the food always wows our guests. We hosted an outdoor wedding for 75 family and close friends. We compared three catering companies and our menu was Lobster, Filet Mignon and chicken, with salad, vegetables, buns, dessert. Evon Vargaz and Du Jour Catering was number one in taste, presentation, cost and equally understanding customer service and flexibility. Evon and team arrived in a company van, they worked silently and efficiently in our kitchen - we did not have people choose their menu in advance. We had 75 lobster tails, and a mix of chicken and steak. The food quality was excellent, the quality of cooking left the entire guest list talking about how perfect the lobster was - soft, perfectly cooked as was the chicken and filets. Evon had her Mother join her which from a personal view- i absolutely loved. Personable and an absolute air of calm, control and confidence in both. The team left my home sparkling, the guests thrilled and i didn't even notice the van being packed or the departure. That = professional and courteous. RECOMMENDED 1000% . More...

Evon’s Du Jour catering is the best I’ve ever used! The food was excellent and the service was incredible. We live half hour north of GR, on Big Whitefish Lake, and a caterer in our neighborhood is non-existent. We were so excited to find her. She catered an executive retirement party and exceeded all our expectations. She drove north, arrived ahead of schedule and was completely prepared. The table service and serving dishes were also top notch. She is a pro! We will use Du Jour catering again, and again! And our guests wanted to know how to contact her for their own parties. More...

Chef Evon saved my event!!!I emailed chef super last minute about an event that I was hosting. The caterer I had already hired was unwilling to increase my order for a growing amount of guests. Chef Evon more than willingly stepped in at the 11th hour and SAVED THE DAY. Not only did she deliver the food right to my event, she delivered amazing food with delicious flavor and wonderful presentation. Last night Chef Evon and her team at Du Jour Catering catered our Christmas Party held at the Downtown Market. This was our second year in a row using Du Jour. Evon is a pleasure to work with! So nice and makes everything so easy! They are also very accommodating as far as dietary requests.The good is amazing and beautiful presentation! So many compliments from our employees!! We order a plethora of appetizers for a heavy finger food buffet... some favorites: black n blue sliders, crab cakes, meatballs, Â mushroom crossing, stuffed mushrooms. Pretty much everything we ordered.The desert bar was absolutely decadent... lemon bars are to die for!We look forward to using Du Jour for more of our catering needs! More...
